Ice (A poem by miss spirit)
Ice...
What once was warm,
Has become cold to the touch…
The love from my heart has been drained,
Has been dripping for weeks now.
The sweet juices have rotted…
They’ve become salty and bitter.
My once tender voice has become hard as a stone.
Bones shatter to the sound of bittersweetness…
I wanted to write a song,
But I couldn’t find the words.
I always make some sort of
Empty, sad, pitiful love song…
I try to play my piano but,
It's like touching thorns.
I’ve actually grown quite afraid of music.
My lyrics bring out brutal honesty,
I’m still so madly in love with him..
I don’t think I’ll recover.
“You’re just a kid,” You’re kidding.
“You’ll learn to move on.”
Moving on isn’t the issue…
I let someone warm my heart to 1000 degrees...
They only broke the tender folds recently…
I let him hold me so close… so close…
I let him hear my voice,
Every pretty, ugly, dreamy part of it.
He inspired me for my songs,
He was my everything…
Now that he’s gone, I’m so cold…
I have nothing left…
I have a hollow heart of ice…
(Yes, this is a vent poem. I can't write songs anymore so this is the next best thing...)

honestly, streamtail. No. I cry twice a day, dream about him every night and I can't do anything about it. I'm miserable.
