There hadn't been a lot of warrior made recently. She could remember two off the top of her head in the last 6 moons- herself and Kestrelskies, and that just wouldn't do. And now that she had the authority to, Birdsnow was going to train the hell out of her former denmates and do everything in her power to get them to warriorhood as fast as possible.

Walking to the center of the clearing, she lifted her chin. "Apprentices and warriors that are interested in a battle and swimming exercise, gather here!"

so sorry if you dont have a warrior or an app but still got mentioned, I tried to make a mentions list of only the apps and warriors but ended up just having a headache so my apologies

If your apprentice actively participates in this event, then this will count as both the battle lesson and swimming lesson for their warrior requirements. Warriors are welcome and encouraged to come chaperone/help out!

 

The participants will be divided into two teams, the Red Team and the Blue Team. One team will start off on the land, and one team will start off in the water. The water is only about as tall as the average cat's belly, and there is little to no chance of drowning. The water isn't cold enough to pose any immediate threats, and for this event, your cat will be constantly moving and won't be in the water long so don't worry about hypothermia/freezing to death lol.

The goal of the land team is to basically fight their way across the very shallow section of the river, fighting the water team. The water team will be working on their swimming/maneuvering in water and water attacks and the land team will be working on quickly crossing the river and defending themselves from water attacks. The team to get the most cats across the shallows to the other side in time will win!

(your cat must pair up with a cat from the opposite team to fight- no crossing over without fighting and getting past someone or your point doesn't count!!)

Anyone who unsheathes claws, holds anyone underwater or gets too rough will be disqualified from the event and the requirements will not be met. Birdsnow will not be tolerating any threats to anyone's physical well being during this training event.

Oh! This sounds fun! They'd like to participate! And there they go to the center of the clearing. Battle and swimming exercises! They'd like to do that; hopefully the battle part won't involve anything harming; they doubt it would so maybe this is a chance for them to make new apprentice friends! And also learn with their denmates together! <- sounds very fun to do. They know how to swim though their battle knowledge....yea...basically. Maybe if they really, really try then this could count for battle lessons! Perhaps they would be able to finish their training early! Sunsetpaw would definately try to do that or something like that!

Springpaw came over a bit more uneasy then usual, but that was to be expected out of someone who has a fear of water. She wouldn't be here if battle wasn't one of the aforementioned exercises that was being done.

Lionpaw rushed over, more excited by the promise of battle than of swimming, but still happy for both as it would put him one paw closer to becoming a true warrior. Though as he gathered by RiverClan's newest deputy a familar black and orange pelt caught his eye... Springpaw. Lionpaw aimed a glare her way, then sat a sizable distance away from her.
