beginning of the end [open for TC reactions, but not attackers]

Unfortunately for Buckstar, it didn't take long for Lionstorm to find him. Near the border.. so close to what had transpired, it only fueled his belief in ThunderClan's guilt.

ThunderClan. The Clan of lying, murdering, scum. They didn't give two dungs when they led the coyotes into RiverClan land, they didn't care about the deaths they caused. The cat they murdered..

Lionstorm unsheathed his claws.

For a moment he watched him, observing his movements around the border - it was like he was looking for something, maybe covering his tracks to hide that he had just ruthlessly slaughtered another of Lionstorm's family. But watching took too long, he was sick of it (sick of him), and the second Lionstorm deemed he had an opening, he struck.

Springing out of the bushes, he launched himself toward Buckstar's back with a loud hiss. "You're going to pay for what you've done, crow-heart!"

He hadn't meant to get RiverClan caught up in this. That had never been his intention. He'd wanted everything to go smoothly, with no bumps in the path, no accidental screw-ups, no quarrels between anyone.

But hey, what the hell? This was ThunderClan. This was him. With him, screw-ups were inevitable.

He paused along the RiverClan border, trying to inspect it carefully. Most of the signs of the coyotes were gone, but it was evident they had passed through here. Claws gripped at his heart as he remembered Lionstorm's words to him at the last Gathering. His father. All those other cats.

He had just turned away - maybe to go inspect another part of the border, he wasn't really sure, everything felt clouded in a sort of way - but shout behind him made him spin around, eyes wide. Lionstorm, speak of the devil, slammed into his front and knocked him to the ground. The breath was driven from his lungs and he reached up to swipe at the attacking tom's face with a paw, wheezing, "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Re: beginning of the end

"Did you think I wouldn't notice?" Lionstorm spat down at Buckstar's face, not bothering to dodge the paw that slashed across his muzzle. "That I wouldn't see what you did? That you killed him?" Fawn was the best of them, he meant more to Lionstorm than any other cat could comprehend.. and this monster took Fawn from him.

His paw lifted to stomp down on Buckstar's side (and as an extension, rake his claws across it.) He wanted to keep him winded. Make him hurt. To suffer for his crimes. "Don't play stupid with me, you slimey fox."

Oh, Stars, this- this was like nothing he'd ever felt before. The feeling of being trapped, unable to escape, as some cat who'd fallen off his tree branch decided it was a good time to tear him to shreds. He bit back a shriek as claws rammed into his side and raked through fur and flesh. "I don't know what you're talking about!" he managed to choke out. "I already apologized for your father - what more do you want from me?" He raised a hind leg and kicked out in a weak effort to shove Lionstorm off. His lungs were failing him, the combined force from the blow to his side and the initial attack having weakened him.

Re: beginning of the end

Buckstar's legs shoved against him but Lionstorm was quick to try to re-establish himself over his opponent, taking advantage of the fact Buckstar wasn't actively trying to get up.

"You killed Fawnsqueak!" Lionstorm's voice ripped through the air, anger burning through his veins as he readied his claws. "You killed my best friend, my mate-- and now I'm going to kill you!"

And then he lashed out, claws aimed to rip through Buckstar's throat.

Fawnsqueak. Fawnsqueak! Oh, StarClan, wait, no, this was all wrong. "No, no, wait, you've got it wrong, I didn't-" he start to yelp out, but claws tore through the skin of his throat, cutting him off with a shocked gurgle. Dammit, this wasn't how this was supposed to go! Red soaked his fur as his life bled out onto the grass, pooling beneath him. Then the light in his eyes died, and... he was gone.

Re: beginning of the end

His objections fell on deaf ears, and all Lionstorm saw was red.

"Don't you dare lie to me!" That just spurred on Lionstorm's resentment, his fury toward the dying leader. "I know you did it, you jackass!"

Even as Yuckstar faded, Lionstorm didn't stop his assault on his body. "And now you--" It started with continuing to slash at his throat, shredding his flesh until it was nothing more than a mangled mess.

StarClan could heal fatal wounds, but not fast enough. The continued inflicted injuries were resulting in Yuckstar waking up.. only to fade away again. It was satisfying, and stirred the fire that ignited in Lionstorm's veins. He wasn't done -- his breathing was elevated as he continued his attack, indiscriminate now as he raked his claws across Buckstar's remains.

It didn't stop until moments after Yuckstar was done moving completely. By that point, he was hardly recognizable as a cat - Lionstorm had mauled his body into pieces.

And he still wasn't done. "And your Clan.."

He took a step back from Buckstar's remains, coated in a combination of fresh and drying blood. "Will pay."

Because Yuckstar was only the beginning. All of ThunderClan needed to pay for what they've done. None of them could be trusted, not anymore. Not after Yuckstar's betrayal.

Thankfully, Buckstar left a nice scent trail right to their camp.

✰✰✰
[ From this point, this is open to all ThunderClan cats.
If anyone would like their character to be killed by Lionstorm let me know,
I'm fine with him killing 1-2 characters before this ends. ]

"ThunderClan!"

Lionstorm wasn't bothering to make a quiet entrance as he entered the camp.

"Come out and fight me you murdering cowards!" He bared his bloodied fangs, pausing in the heart of the clearing.

He was on high alert, aware he was painting a target on himself but he didn't give a damn. ThunderClan crossed a line with their actions and there was no going back.

(A part of him knew he had crossed a line too, but nothing was fixing the bleeding void in his chest that Fawnsqueak had left. This was the only answer.)

"I killed your leader, and I'll kill as many of you as it takes to avenge my mate you savages killed."

~Silverwave~

A silver tabby Warrior had been lazily laying in the warm sunlight, her fur shimmering like dew. Her blue eyes were closed, as her ears flicked a bit.
But wait.
What was that scent? And that voice? They were yelling something, something about killing Buckstar?
Wait a minute...
Buckstar was dead?!
Silverwave’s eyes popped open, and she sprang to her paws, hissing at Lionstorm as he entered.

( You can choose if you want her to die)

Re: beginning of the end

Eveningmist
_____________

As the sounds of shouting shot through the camp, Eveningmist could feel his blood run cold. He immediately knew who the voice belonged to. Just moments after the shouting met his ears the strong smell of blood seemingly covered the whole area. Blue eyes widened into saucers, his heart pounding in his chest. The large tom shot out into the clearing as fast as he could, his breathing fast and panicked.

As the tom discovered the sight of Lionstorms crazed expression and bloodstained pelt, he had a strong guess of who the blood belonged to, and it absolutely sickened him. The following words spoken by the former leader only solidified his fears. Buckstar...was dead? No, no no no that couldnt be right. He had to be safe, this had to just be a lie... right?

But as much as he yearned to believe that pitiful hope, he knew that was the golden tom said was true. Panicked eyes turned cold, a look of pure rage settling on his face. He had had enough of Lionstorms lies. At first it was understandable - grief because of the loss of a family member caused you to think illogical things - but... this? Killing someone, all because you wanted to convince yourself that what you thought was correct?

"What...what have you done...?" the toms voice barely came out as a whisper, his gaze steely as his eyes bore into Lionstorms bloodied form. Evening barely registered anything else that was going on around him, his paws frozen in place and his mind focused only on the scene before him.

Without warning, the huge toms lips pulled back into a snarl, his fur bristling into spikes. Eveningmist charged at Lionstorm, unsheathed claws outstretched towards the other cat. He planned on grabbing hold of Lionstorms shoulders and hopefully pin him, though if that didnt work he would try to slam him weight into him, aiming to knock the wind out of Lionstorm

Robinwhisker jumped as an unfamiliar voice howled nearby. Who was that? When she discovered the terrifying sight of a bloody Lionstorm standing over a body... wait... whose body was that?

Horror, anguish and disgust shot through her at the sight of Buckstar, her leader, lying dead at the Riverclan cat's paws. She let out a loud yowl, unable to look at his mutilated corpse. Would Starclan even heal that? "How could you?" She screeched, claws unsheathing. "Thunderclan were your allies! The coyotes were the ones to kill your clanmates, not us!" She cried, voice wobbly.

She raced toward the murderer, letting her warrior instincts take over. Lionstorm killed Buckstar, and now he was going to pay.

No. It couldn’t be. Not...

”You’re the coward!”

Rage filled Applepaw to the brim, her good eye narrowed into slits as she dashed out of the apprentices’ den. fur standing on end in all directions. No, nononono. He couldn’t be dead. But there he was, his lifeless body splayed disrespectfully on the clearing, with his... murderer standing over him.

Red clouded her vision. Red was in her ears, nose, even tingling at the edge of her paws. Her mentor... her role model.

Gone.

With a screech the tri-colored molly launched herself towards Lionstorm with a surprising amount of speed, tears and grief blinding her as she stretched her claws out, unsheathed and aiming directly for the golden tabby’s throat.

Sunhowl heard the call as he’d been walking nearby and padded up, looking at his obviously dead leader. How stupid. “Dude, you’re being in idiot. Dogs killer your mate, not us. Stop being an jerk and go home before you get yourself killed.”The cats around here, they were like toddlers. He sounded like a baby crying for a toy not a grieving mate. How atrocious. If this was the former leader of Riverclan he preferred Sootstar, heck anyone was better than this idiot.

He flicked his tail in annoyance as he moved forward to collect his leader. “Don’t bite, just a medicine cat trying to collect his dead. I don’t want to get in the way of your temper tantrum.” he mewed as he walked by and grabbed Buckstarby the scruff.

Thistlethorn looked up in alarm. Buckstar was... dead?! No! Looking up, he snarled when he saw Lionstorm. Of course. The oversized kit who enjoyed throwing a tantrum would do this. Did he have a death wish? Highly likely. With a roar, he threw himself at Lionstorm, aiming to gain revenge for his leader.

"What's wrong?" He hissed. He knew he was going to cross a line but, if Lionkit was willing to do so, he would to. "Angry you couldn't protect your own Clanmates? Must be hard being a failure like you, letting his Clan down repeatedly." Thistlethorn rarely got angry, but this was an exception. His tolerance could only go so far.

(I'd rather he not die, please).

Re: beginning of the end [open for TC cats]

There was no way of telling that this would happen.

He'd gone out for a walk after sitting with Rosekit at the Clan meeting. Where Sunhowl and Iciclepaw were announced as their new medicine cats. Where he sat rather proudly watching the apprentice, and observing his Clanmates.

But now they had an intruder in their midst, a bloodthirsty fallen star ravenous for more matter to swallow up as it began to collapse into itself. What a catastrophic chain of events.

Rainywhisker does not hesitate to meet Lionstorm in the clearing, the fur along his spine rising. Deep copper eyes flash as he regards the tom.

"What are you saying," he growls. "What are you saying about Buckstar." His stomach rolls. Lionstorm was too far gone to lie.

So it was true.

As his Clanmates roil around him, he takes a step closer to Lionstorm, lifting his head and meeting the tom's frantic stare with a challenging, stone cold look. He wasn't fearful. "You know somewhere that that is not true. But this must be what you've been hiding all along, this... This nonsensical delusion. Or is it that you've grown tired of thinking at all anymore?" The threat wasn't masked.

(Feel free to give him a good scar)

The tortoiseshell awoke with a start, chaos erupting around him. He didn't even get time to fully wake up before he was rolling out the entrance of the Den. Claws out. First thing he saw was an incredibly aggrivated tom who didn't belong in the middle of their clearing. Golden tabby covered in blood had him on high alert.

Flicking his tail he gave the newly announced Medicine Cat a side glance. "What's with this crazy tom in the clearing?" he asked, words slightly slurred with sleep.

Silverdust had padded out from the meeting hearing all the commotion she raced to the scene she saw buckstar being taken away by the med cat and she sighs "Lionstorm get your head straight!" She screamed it at the tom she didn't care at this point she still had the will to live but she was not gonna let a cat from another clan speak of her clan or her former leader sorely "You just got a stick up your fishy rear end and you need to get it out. None of us thunderclaners would have hurt any of you riverclaners. Your just putting nonsense in your own head. Go back to your clan or wherever it is you belong now." She yawned. She had enough of the games (Don't kill her she just trying to talk sense)

- Pumpkinnose -
Pumpkinnose froze in shock and horror as she heard the screams echo through the forest. She instantly knew who those two voices belonged to. Before she could do anything, Lionstorm stormed into the clearing, screaming in a fit of rage. First he accused Buck, and now he had just killed him. It was all to much. "You killed him. You killed HIM! How could you!", she growled, trying to hold back the urge to fight. He wasn't a former leader anymore, he was a murderer.

(She’s open for getting a few wounds)

Porcupineberry slipped silently out of the warrior’s den, her muscular build was hidden under her thick russet fur as the docile molly padded over to the group of cats harassing the murderer, she had always admired Lionstorm and frankly she could tell that he seemed to be grief stricken and not thinking straight. She gulped she wanted to help defuse the situation, and frankly screaming at Lionstorm wasn’t the answer,” Lionstorm, sweetie, I know you’re upset that cats you care about are dead, but try to think clearly. How about you head over to where your...mate is with me, and show me the scent you’ve noticed of Thunderclan on your mate. I’m certain, Eveningmist will exile or execute the cat who would murder a Thunderclanner, grief can be blinding. How about you cool down and think things through, if by some chance you are right that all of Thunderclan planned this out, you are welcome to return for revenge, but I think you need to sleep on this sweetheart. ” she meowed. She wanted to wrap her tail around Lionstorm to comfort him, but she knew better than to do such a thing. She was absolutely furious with him, but she knew a grief stricken cat couldn’t think straight and this would get bloody fast. It would be better to talk him down and then quietly inform Riverclan and let them exile him or whatever.

The commotion flew past the young medicine cat apprentice, and in a flash she was out of the den. And,, a cat,, a golden tabby cat was there declaring her fathers death. The father she had never yet really called father. The one who she promised wouldn't go as well. NO!! no,,, this was supposed to be a happy day.,, who- why,, StarClan... She saw the familiar white-spotted, brown pelt being dragged by her mentor. She saw the cats attacked this devil they called Lionsorm. Iciclepaw probaly heard of him, but in this moment,,, all seemed lost. "Is this really what StarClan wants,,, more fighting. YOU MAY HAVE LOST YOUT CATS, BUT BECAUSE OF THAT YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW HOW IT FEELS.. . Lionstorm,- whoever you are called- you have no right to be here,,," Her paws where getting colder by the minute, heart plunging deeper into the frozen river of doom.

"What have I done?" Lionstorm curled his lips at Eveningmist. "Save it, bone-cruncher. Your Clan started this-- you've always been heartless, but now you're at the point of no return."

He was referencing everything ThunderClan had done.

Flintstar's treatment of rogues and WindClan, his alliance with the scumbags of ShadowClan. Duskstar's decision to leech off of RiverClan's kindness for moons. Buckstar's broken promises of friendship and peace, only to feed RiverClan to the coyotes.

And now.. Fawnsqueak. "Everything you've done is to prey on the other Clans, and that ends tonight. Knowing those two would very likely be occupied with that friendly fire, he focused his attention on the rest. "Look at you vermin, you can't even handle the truth when it's right in front of you! This cat-no, this monster- was out of his mind and, if he really thought he could take on the entire Clan, he would make sure he left this camp dead.

Tears spring to the calico warrior's eyes as Lionstorm's sharp claws dug into her shoulder. Not even a full season had passed since she had gained a wound there, from the very coyotes that had moved onto Riverclan. If she wasn't in so much physical and emotional pain, she might have laughed at the irony of it all.

Scarlett blood splattered onto the ground as it spilled from her re-opened wound. Yowling in pain, she shifted her wait onto her back paws. Her belly was exposed, but at least she could now swipe at the murderer with her good paw without her bad shoulder messing her up. From her new position, she attempted to claw at Lionstorm's face. He can't attack if he can't see!
She would avenge Buckstar if it killed her.

Porcupineberry had been trying to talk him down, but after watching him fling Applepaw across the clearing she immediately sprinted off to check on Applepaw,” Applepaw, sweetie, are you alright?” she gently meowed glancing over at the poor apprentice who got flung by the Lionstorm, she glanced around trying to decide what to do, there were plenty of cats attacking him, but they only had two medicine cats, she glanced around,” If you feel hurt, I’ll go fetch Sunhowl for you. I’m certain he can patch you right up if you need patching up.” she meowed gently trying to rasping the apprentice.

Eveningmist
____________

Oh no. Oh stars no. The world seemed to move in slow motion as his claws sank into the flesh of his clanmate, his eyes blowing wide in panic. As soon as he saw what Lionstorm was doing, the deputy tried to pull back, but it was already too late. Right as he was able to stop, he dove to catch Rainywhisker, panic evident on the toms face. "Rainywhisker!" he gasped out, "Stars, please be okay! Im sorry, I am so so sorry, just please, please stay with me!"

His clanmates likely had the fighting handled for the moment, so his top priority then was making sure any injured cats were taken care of. And... rainywhisker was of utmost importance. Laying the tom down, eveningmist scrambled to stop the bleeding, but it was no use. The blood just kept on flowing. It just...spewed out faster than he could stop it, his paws becoming a deep crimson as he struggled to keep the former medicine cat conscious.

But...he was no medicine cat. He didnt know what he was doing. Tears pricked in the corners of the deputies - or was it leader now that Buckstar was dead? - eyes, blurring his vision as the warriors life came closer and closer to ending. Rainywhisker was dying, and nothing he could do would be able to stop that. Still, he kept trying to keep him alive for even a moment longer.

As The life faded from Rainywhiskers eyes, Eveningmist caught his gaze with a look of sheer terror, his ears pinned back on his head. Why? Oh, stars why did this have to happen? "Its going to be okay, everything is going to be okay" he croaked out, sounding as if he were even trying to convince himself of that.

Re: beginning of the end [closed for attackers]

Rainywhisker couldn't find the words to reply to Lionstorm with before the former leader leaps over him, the calculated shove from him following the jump sending the stormy gray tom toppling into Eveningmist's outstretched claws.

He feels himself get ripped open.

His jaws open in a scream, and he twists, agonizing over the wounds inflicted by his own deputy. Lionstorm knew what he'd done, Eveningmist clearly only coming to recognition now of what he'd done.

Rainywhisker can't help it. He loses control over the ability to stand and his legs buckle beneath him. It was... Strange, but he was eerily aware of the blood pulsing out of his wounds. He doesn't try to move or wail for help. Instead, as Eveningmist hunches over him, he locks eyes with the tom.

The deputy seemed like he was about to cry. The dark gray warrior wished he could try to talk some sense into him, but parting his lips and trying to say anything at all resulted in a horrendous bubbling gurgle.

So, copper eyes alight with pain, he stares at the tom over him now, giving him reassurance. Did Eveningmist know he was lying? Did Eveningmist want to be right? Rainywhisker wanted to thank him, and tell him that he was right- Everything was going to be okay.

But the world around them was fading. Rainywhisker was melting away. As he lies there, his muscles involuntarily spasming as his lungs try and pump in oxygen they wouldn't receive, he thinks of the life he'd led.

He was glad to have known everyone, and sad he'd never left his mark. Never fully trained an apprentice or met a she-cat to settle down with, never even found a kit he was willing to look after. There was Dogspirit... Stars, that molly was breathtaking. Not in a weird attractive way, but he was still just so taken by how strong she was. Her kits would be great. He hoped he would get to see them from StarClan.

A pang of sadness echoes through his heart, and with one final blind look towards where Eveningmist had been, he lets go.

- Pumpkinnose -
Pumpkinnose was about to rush over to Applepaw, but another cat was already there. And plus, she had other things to deal with. There was a traitor in their midst. "Nice try Lionstorm", she growled, unsheathing her claws. "Did you really think you could get away with it!" Trying her best to hold back her tears as Rainywisker fell to the ground, she lunged forward, aiming to knock him of the apprentice. Two cats had already died, as she wasn't going to let it happen again.

Re: beginning of the end [closed for attackers]

Everything happened so quick. One moment she was flying towards her mentor's murder, the cat who'd taken Buckstar from not only her, but his beloved Clan. The next, she was flung backwards with startling power. There was no time for thinking. For speaking. For breathing. Just as the rage dissipated from her green eye she hit the Thunderwillow, an earsplitting crack echoing throughout the clearing.

Limp. On the ground. Not moving.

Porcupineberry's attempts to get her up were met with bone-chilling silence, her good eye staring lifelessly towards Lionstorm. Her talons were still out, stretched to face the deranged golden tabby as if even in death she was seeking revenge. Her body was getting the first touches of death's cold grip, and it was almost as if the color was draining from her fur as well.

Black. Gone. Nothingness. Just empty abyss that stretched on, endlessly. Peaceful...

Until Applepaw blinked, realizing she could see and... and move. What? Getting up with a start the young molly looked around, confused at first until the claws of shock ravaged her heart. Directly below her was her body, splayed out in a way that made it obvious her time alive was over.

Her life - her short, pathetic life, over before it had even begun. No chance to ever train. No chance at laughing with her denmates, sneaking out at night, feeling butterflies over a tom for the first time. No chance at a warrior ceremony of her own or leading a patrol one day. No chance to becoming just like her role model, Buckstar.

None.

Panic started to set in, and helplessly Applepaw glanced up, green eyes wide and scared as she looked around for an anchor of sorts - something, anything to grab onto. And that's when she saw. Rainywhisker. Rainywhisker. Without much hesitation she dashed over, aiming to nuzzle his own starry chest with her head. Even in this form he still had the bitter sweet herb scent she'd grown used to during her time in the medicine den.

It wasn't what she needed, not by a long shot. But he was here. He would know what to do. Sniffling, the young apprentice stepped back to look at the older time, tears glistening in her gaze. "Rainywhisker..." Such sorrow, too much sorrow for a young cat to voice. Grief held her heart captive for now, the only solace in the form of the tom that stood before her.

A gentle smile.

"I'd like that walk now, if you have time."

╰┈➤ Dogspirit | @BILL.
She was a deep sleeper but the howls and screams and cries were enough to break through those scarred folded ears and reach Dogspirit. Along with those grievous noises was the smell of blood; metallic as it reached the nose.

Stepping past sleeping kittens was easy enough but processing the scene around the yellow tom wasn't a task anyone could do effectivrly; body after body... Rainywhisker.

Her heart stopped for a moment and all those green eyes could see was rage. Hot, angry rage. She didn't need ti check to know he wasn't breathing;to know Eveningmist was stood right over him and doing NOTHING about the apparent deranged Riverclan in front of them.

This was why Thunderclan was weak; he wouldn't have gotten this far into the territory if they'd been in Shadowclan! The furious thoughts only made her grief some much worse; her mind began to sprial and her body lost control.

Like the very beast she was named after, Dogspirit charged at Lionstorm. What training did she have? Absolutely none, but stars help her she was going to try and take a limb or two in the process.

Her claws were out, digging into the ground as she built up speed. With all her large postpartum might, Dogspirit named to throw her entire weight into the side of Lionstorm. Like a car stuck upon the lines of a train track! But even a train could be derailed.

It was odd how one second of an action could leave to a lifetime of pain; even if that lifetime was short.

(If you’d like, Lionstorm can kill her)

~Silverwave~

The she-cat watched one by one, as her clanmates tried to battle Lionstorm, but one by one, Lionstorm defeated them. Silverwave’s blue eyes narrowed and she hissed, before launching herself as the tom. She attempted to dig her claws into Lionstorm’s back, hoping to get a better grip as she clung on, teeth bared.

Eveningmist
____________

Gone. He was gone. The gurgle was heartbreaking to hear, proving that Rainywhisker had no chance of living. Even after all the encouragement he had murmured, none of it mattered in the end. Rainywhisker still died all the same. After staring down at the limp body for a moment more, Eveningmist straightened up again, his back facing the body. Enough was enough.

All he could hear was the blood rushing through his ears, all other sounds falling on deaf ears. His face was serene, but behind the calm features was a storm of rage building with every moment Lionstorm was in his vision. As more and more of his precious clanmates were knocked aside, he came closer and closer to snapping once again. Gone was the calm, passive ebeningmist. There was no time for that.

"Lionstorm, I thought better of you. I respected you. But now? After killing so many of my clanmates, Im afraid all that previous admiration and respect is gone. Even one clanmate lost is too many. I believe you have overstayed your time here, dear Lionstorm" His voice was blank cold and hostile, sounding as if he was spitting out venom with each and every word uttered.

Once again, he charged full pelt at the golden warrior, long claws outstretched. This time there was no cat Lionstorm could hide behind. It was just Thunderclan versus Lionstorm now. He was itching to avenge his fallen clanmates and friends, and there was no way that that wretched Lionstorm was getting away scot free.

He planned on sinking his claws into and part of the former leader that he could reach, aiming on holding him in place so he couldnt attack anyone else. If that succeeded, then he would go to sink his teeth into the flesh of his shoulder. At the moment he was glad that his fighting skills far outweighed those of his hunting skills. No matter the outcome of his previous attacks, he would rear up on his hindlegs and attempt to slam his forepaws down on Lionstorms head, no doubt momentarily stunning the other tom if it were to connect.

Porcupineberry had tried to be slightly reasonable in hopes that Lionstorm would back down, she knew they’d kill him later, but she felt getting him out of the territory was the best thing to do originally. Now she held the dead young apprentice Applepaw and shook them violently trying to make them move, but sadly realized they were dead. In rage she stood up and spun around and headed towards Lionstorm,” You murderer!” she spat as she unsheathed her claws and pushed herself off the ground bounding towards him before shooting out her front leg and sweeping it wide in attempts to trip the giant Riverclanner. She was going to avenge poor Applepaw. Warrior deaths happen, but apprentices should never be killed by warriors.

Riverpaw stoped she needed to be smart about this, the warrior code was everything to her she needed to fight smart and hard to protect it and her clan. He face was bleeding bad, she was already hurt and it was only the start. He ran again but this time sliding down at the last second to attack, the cat was bigger than her. She then got back up and went for the back with a hiss

Sunhowl let go of Buckstar to look at the clan and roll his ees, "Imbicils." he growled before grabbing Buckstar by the scruff and dragging him away to camp. He glanced over and saw Iciclepaw. Oh great, not this one would get killed too.

He dropped Buckstar and whipped around to Iciclepaw. "Icicle! Get your sorry tail over here!" He growled angrily. He was... feeling something... in his gut... he didn't like it and he knew if Iciclepaw came over to him and just helped him do this... the feeling would be gone...

He shook out his fur before continuing to flick his tail as he looked at his apprentice. "Help me carry our dead and wounded." he snarled. He hadn't meant to snarl but he was getting... annoyed... why in Starclan's wide fields was everyone going crazy. What was wrong with all of them. He looked at Iciclepaw apologetically, hoping she understood it wasn't her.

Re: beginning of the end [closed for attackers]

Everything had faded- The noise, the sounds, the light and dark. There was nothing at all for several moments, or perhaps an eternity. All Rainywhisker felt was... Cool. It was the only way he could describe what was going on with his conscious, which still somehow lingered.

But after a time, the world comes into view again. The tom gets the urge to move, so he steps forward and in the most bizarre fashion, he watches as he steps out of his own body and onto the ground. Fighting and screaming, chaos still continued to transpire. Lionstorm was still here, Eveningmist still nearby. Rainywhisker turns his gaze up from his own lifeless body and watches his Clanmates struggle to defend their camp from this unlikely intruder.

He stares for a while at Lionstorm with a frown upon his face before something catches his attention. Flicking an ear, he turns to see Applepaw approaching. Confusion washes over him and for a moment, he is stumped. Had he made a mistake in suggesting their new medicine cats? But then, she dives into him and buries her muzzle in his fur, and a pang of grief strikes his heart.

Feeling choked up suddenly, the warrior bows his head and rests his chin atop hers. "Oh, Applepaw," he murmurs. "This shouldn't have happened."

After truly embracing her with all he could muster, similarly to how he and Dogspirit reunited, he lets out a light sigh and lifts his head again. "I would love that walk." Out of the corner of his sight, he sees something. "In- In a moment-"

Turning to watch, he gets a chill. Dogspirit- No! She was overtaken with emotions, and flying fast from the nursery into the fight. Rainywhisker's tail bushes out as he stands beside Applepaw, watching it all happen. After another moment, the spirit parts from her side to race after the queen, his paws outstretched as he nearly glides over the floor. But as he leaps towards Dogspirit, he soars through absolutely nothing. Colliding through her physical body with his own felt like he was getting eaten by a monster on the thunderpath- All of the grief and rage and despair they were both feeling pinning him down at once.

"Dogspirit," Rainywhisker chokes out with decreasing hope. "Dogspirit, go back inside, your kits, they-" Oh, what difference did it make? She wouldn't hear him, see him, Stars, even feel his presence. They'd been separated. It was his fault.

Realization settles like a stone in his belly, and Rainywhisker lifts himself up off the ground again to slowly amble back to Applepaw. He hadn't shown her a very pleasant display just there, and he hoped it didn't frighten her like he managed to do himself. He doesn't say anything else to her, just flicks his tail to beacon her to lead the way.

Iciclepaw snapped back into reality at Sunhowl's voice called her. Did he really think, in the middle of a battle she would be- oh wait,,, thats what audience cats do ...

Getting up quickly, she winched at her father's body. It was- well,, hard to look at to say the least. And practically destroyed- the she-cat didn't think much of her mentor's harsh words, being too occupied with worrying about other stuff. "Coming.."
