Rookpaw prepared to swipe water at Finchpaw again. Her last attack had been dodged. She accepted his face on, it wasn't like she wasn't already wet.And then he dived. Rookpaw's sharp mind immediately assumed surprise attack from behind. She spread out her paws and carefully started turning around herself, keeping her attention behind her.

Finchpaw opened his eyes underwater. It was dark but not clouded, he could see the outline of Rookpaw’s paws.

How did those Riverclan cats attack in water so quickly? He felt like he had slowed massively, the water holding back his paws as he tried moving towards Rookpaw.

His breath running out he managed to get half way around Rookpaw until he pushed off the stream floor. Bursting out of the water and latched into her side he brought them both splashing into the water, laughing his head of evily.

“Eat my water strike fishbrain!” He yelled triumphantly.
