Tiny facial features furrowed in confusion as Beechkit turned his head this way, then that way, but ended up shrugging as he couldn't find his own mama.

CrowKit laughed awkwardly. Clearlight, the brown tabby queen, wasn't his mother but its true that she treated him with a lot more kindness than most.
"I'm sure your mother will be back soon." CrowKit promised,
"It's nice to meet you, by the way."
CrowKit got down low, moving into a more playful stance,
"wanna play?"
