Okay...well, that wasn't that bad... still, he would much rather just be curled up in his nice comfy nest, asleep. Bogkit yawned loudly enough for multiple cats around them to hear, his paws gently scuffing against the ground. The toms long tail dragged on the ground, surely picking up a lot of filth in it. Not like Bogkit really cared all that much; he was never the cleanest anyways. Maybe he could lay down in his hiding spot and get some rest if Swampkit wasn't able to find him that quickly. Oh stars, he hoped so. "urghhhh... fine. Start counting." he droned flatly, gazing pointedly at his brother.

Rosepaw felt very conflicted about being back in here. On the other hand, it was safe and nice and the residents weren't forced to go out for training. On the other, she was immediately flooded by memories of various mishaps.
The brown tabby was often pressured by the general public to do her duties as an apprentice, but her mentor didn't seem to interested in teaching her what exactly she should do. She knew she had to feed the queens and kits but since she couldn't hunt she didn't really do much. But maybe she could help clean up? So she got up and went to the nursery. It's comforting scent was lovely, although it didn't help her relax. Oh dear, she might have to interact with people.

Clearlight remembered when she was once that small. The other cats used to call her ‘Eerie’, because her ear used to be lopsided, and she gave the appearance of scary cat from stories told by the elders. Clearlight never liked Eerie. She could understand why Crowkit wouldn’t like being called ‘Crow’ after crowfood either. But she had tried to take Eerie in stride, it was one of the reasons she picked ‘Clear’. It sounded a bit like ‘Eerie’, but not too much.

“Crows aren’t too bad. Look,” she said, ”they do an important thing to our survival, which is eating leftovers. Without that, we’d all be swimming in half-eaten fresh-kill and bones by now.” Clearlight realized that what she said wasn’t the most encouraging thing, but she hoped Crowkit got her point.

When her father jerked away, Rowanbriar bit back bitter tears. Of course. Here comes the yelling... and the anger.... and the 'what were you thinkings' She scuffled her paws, bracing herself for the torrent of fatherly rage. She opened her mouth to make unconscious promises, to give her kits up, to do anything to bring her father back to her, but closed her mouth again. No. They were her kits, and even if they weren't planned... and a serious inconvenience... she loved them already and wouldn't give them up for anything.

But no yelling ensued. She raised her defiant gaze to her father, and was surprised to see joy there. Joy. She was surprised. Shocked. That her strict, cranky father, would stand with her during these hard times. She drew back. "R-really?" She meowed, voice breaking. "You're not going t-to disown me .... or... or yell at me?" Relief flooded her, and she pressed against his body.

"Thank you... I love you, Dad." She murmured, curling her tail around her belly. Her stomach wasn't showing signs of the kits, but it would start to become obvious. She was glad to have her father on her side to support her, but what about a father? The kits needed a father.... Sootstrike might want to know who the father was. How was she supposed to explain it to him?!

Oh, so Tawnybird was gone? Good riddance. Finally, he could go stick his non-existent nose in someone else's business. Bumblepaw's tail tapped against the ground as he surveyed the crowd for his new mentor- oh, please tell him it wasn't the one bobbing his head up and down like a confused goose and babbling about being excited.

Cinderpaw approaching him confirmed that fear. Fantastic.

Well, at least it's not a coward this time, he thought grimly as he rose to his feet and padded over to meet Dripberry, shooting Cinderpaw a murderous look. "Give me private lessons on how to shove her into the nearest pond, please."

Turtlebee awoke to the beautiful and wonderful feeling of.. the cold! Oh how interesting it was? How cold could it truly get? While it did sting it was an interesting feeling yet one they had definitely felt before. Leaf-fall was Turtlebee's favorite season by far. Was just such a peaceful time. None of the weird bugs yelling all the time or having to deal with those bigger predators since they went to sleep. Turtlebee thought all this as They bumbled around the clearing, oblivious to everything happening around him. As They walked around, he found a single flower. Peculiar.. how was it alive? "Hmm, little flower how are you still alive? I wonder how you haven't wilted yet.. hmm hmm" They said as they sat down in front of it. What could he name this lil flower.. what about lil! Its perfect for this little flower. They thought with a smile on their face. This was truly a productive day for Turtlebee!

Boring, boring, boring... Seriously, were all meetings this boring and slow paced? If so, he certainly wouldn't bother even showing up next time. Bogkit yawned loudly, rolling onto his stomach with his limbs starfished around him, letting the sun soak into his pelt. The pudgy kit allowed his eyes to wander throughout the clearing, his gaze flitting over the pelts of countless other cats. Sighing to himself, the kit cast a forlorn glance to the nursery, which looked oh-so enticing from his spot on the ground.

CrowKit smiled as the watched the young cat stumble out of its nesting. It wasnt too long ago that he was in the same spot, trying to figure out where he was and a bit too clumsy to move gracefully.
CrowKit carefully removed himself from his new friend, a queen named ClearLight, and aproach the young kit.
As CrowKit approached, he realized just how much hes geown in the last couple of moons. This young kit was so small compared to him.

Beechkit
Surprise caused whiskers to twitch and ears to widen as Beechkit turned, staring at the source of words directed at him. This kit was big! Much bigger than him - but mama had always said he was tiny. So maybe he wasn't that big. "I'm Beechkit!" he exclaimed, stomping his tiny paws before him as a fluffy tail soared in the air behind. This was fun, maybe this kit would play with him? Forgotten was his tumble out of the nest, in its place a chance at making a new friend.

Glancing around the larger and older kit to where he had come from, he added, "Is that your mama over there? That's pretty cool she's here! I'm not sure where mine is, I think she left earlier because she wasn't in the nest when I woke up." Tiny facial features furrowed in confusion as Beechkit turned his head this way, then that way, but ended up shrugging as he couldn't find his own mama.

CrowKit looked down at his paws. it's true, everything in the forest served its purpose and crows were no exception but that certainly didn't make the smell go away.
But CrowKit wasn't about to argue with Clearlight. she had been kind to him, much kinder than most of the clan cats.
CrowKit smiled at Clearlight, "true. do you think that means StarClan intends to keep my belly full?" CrowKit laughed. jokes wasn't his strong suit, but he felt more comfortable around Clearlight.
