Ashpaw turned around with new energy as another warrior approached from behind. After rising from the damp ground, he greeted the spotted gray cat with a warm smile and replied gratefully:
"Hi! I'm Ashpaw, and yes. I could really do something with a warrior now." The tom seemed to have read just into the apprentice's mind, and it seemed that finally he had found the opportunity to do the much yearned tour in their territory.
"I'd very like to get the whole territory tour in Thunderclan, as I am approaching my ultimate assessment and my mentor never organized one." He guessed that even Cloudspots would get disconcerted at Darkpetal's neglicence, but that didn't matter now. The feeling toward his mentor were very mixed, and Ashpaw would rather not think about them as clearing his mind would be way harder. He stretched his forelegs in front of him, eager to go out for a long walk and warm his muscles, and raised his tail to signal that he was ready.
