Sundust simply released a quiet sigh at Bumblebreak’s defensive response. He supposed there was no helping a cat who wouldn’t let themselves be helped. He let the silence lapse again, wanting to avoid raising any more conflict for the time being, and was relieved when Bumblebreak switched to a new topic.

“It’s marigold,” the medicine cat began explaining, “It’s used to treat infections.” He finished off with the marigold and plastered on a thick layer of cobwebs. “Try and keep these cobwebs clean and dry for the next day or two. If the wound starts acting up again then come see me or Rosepaw; is there anything else you need me to take a look at while your here?” Sundust had only noticed the rat bites, but he liked to double-check to make sure there wasn’t anything he missed.

Sundust's sigh made her twitch an ear, but she swallowed whatever biting retort rose to her tongue. Silence enveloped them once more, and Bumblebreak allowed it to, her voice seemingly spent. The only response she gave the medicine cat in answer to his explanations was a tired half-nod, and though her bruises throbbed beneath her fur from her encounter at the Cove and her energy was suddenly sapped, she didn't feel either were worth any attention. Sleep would take care of both.

So she took a deep breath and shook her head, managing a tired, "No." this time. "Can I go?"

Sun'Cloud acknowledged the fact the clan was getting new kits but so
close to a harsh season? He sighed keeping his paws from kneading the
ground nervously. As far as he was concerned he hoped the kits would
survive leaf-Bare without any troubles so thunder clan can be stronger.

Ashpaw sensed excitement coming from the cats that today would be at the center of a new ceremony. He shifted his weight back and forth on one paw and then the other, unrasiness prickling at his pelt as he watched every clanmate after another being named warriors before him. His eyes picked up Flamepaw's expression from the opposite side of the camp, and it was clear to him that today was the her big day. He didn't dare approach her now, as to avoid giving her the wrong impression. Of course he was happy for the new Thunderclan warriors, but every meeting that passed it seemed to him that his ceremony would never come.
Ashpaw closed his eyes and took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air of leaf-fall to calm himself down and think more clearly. Yes. I’m already ready for my assessment, and Vineglow has already accepted to help me. He shouldn't worry too much about the timing, right?
And I'll have it on leaf-fall. This means that the hunting part will be more difficult, so if I'll do well I'll show great skill. The thought comforted him and convinced him to relax, abandoning the stiff pose that he was previously holding. Curling up his tail around his paws to keep them warm, he gazed at the Thunderclan leader as she gave the new announcements.

Darkpetal noticed that Shadefur would retire. He felt happy that the black-furred she-cat would be able to pass on tales to the kits Mapleleaf and Rainflower were expecting.

Cloudspots caught sight of an apprentice with a concerned look on his face, lying opposite him in a sunny spot. After all the trouble Wisteriapaw had been lately, Cloudspots was hesitant to get himself involved with yet another apprentice. Then again, this apprentice was actually here, unlike Wisteriapaw.

Besides, the young of the Clan often needed more support than they got. Life as a Clan cat was certainly not easy. Every day was a risk. Many apprentices didn’t make it to their warrior ceremonies. If Cloudspots could do something to help this young cat reach his warrior ceremony, then he wanted to.

He padded over to him. “Hello!” he mewed. “Do you need help?” A rather awkward introduction, but Cloudspots didn’t have a reputation for being particularly charismatic.

Ashpaw turned around with new energy as another warrior approached from behind. After rising from the damp ground, he greeted the spotted gray cat with a warm smile and replied gratefully: "Hi! I'm Ashpaw, and yes. I could really do something with a warrior now." The tom seemed to have read just into the apprentice's mind, and it seemed that finally he had found the opportunity to do the much yearned tour in their territory.

"I'd very like to get the whole territory tour in Thunderclan, as I am approaching my ultimate assessment and my mentor never organized one." He guessed that even Cloudspots would get disconcerted at Darkpetal's neglicence, but that didn't matter now. The feeling toward his mentor were very mixed, and Ashpaw would rather not think about them as clearing his mind would be way harder. He stretched his forelegs in front of him, eager to go out for a long walk and warm his muscles, and raised his tail to signal that he was ready.

Ospreypaw purred in delight at the thought of new kits! They will be amazing warriors one day! Though he tilted his head slightly at the warrior that wanted to become and elder though he shook his head, It's his choice to do that, being a warrior can get rather tiring. Though his tail and ears drooped slightly as he remembered that Sparrowstar hadn't seen him waving. He pouted slightly before he shook his head once again, Sparrowstar is very busy, maybe I can bring her a gift later.


Sungaze hummed lightly as he glanced at Shadefur, before nodding his head, Shadefur was doing what was best for him and if that meant retiring then so be it.

Feathernose watched the two new queens. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to call their names like you did for new warriors and apprentices, but no one else seemed to be, so she stayed silent.

Thrushfur silently congratulated Shadefur for finally being able to lay down from their warrior duties. The newly-made elder was going to become quite the hassle. He had seen Weaselpaw helping out Firelight in the elders den once, but the elder was about gone now. He was ecstatic to know that his own apprentice managed to use his own ability for decision making. He looked up towards Shadefur, they completely succumbed themselves to elder life. Giving a small thump of his tail. He looked up towards Sparrowstar hoping that she would announce the deaths of.. those. Even if he completely forgot to report that he had finished the task of burial. He grimaced silently. Something was weighing on his mind quietly waiting to ambush at the right moment.

Instead to ease his mind, which really wouldn’t be easing his mind at all. He looked over his shoulder to try spotting Fallowkit. He would have expected Quailfur to keep a scent on her and make sure she wakes up to attend her apprentice ceremony as expected. But that seems to not be the case. Something urgently swirled in his stomach that something has happened to her. He unsheathed his claws digging them into the ground, the retraction of his claws wasn’t controllable anymore. Surely Fallowkit would show up? Quailfurs got this.. He silently pleaded.

Quailfur raised a brow, Mottlekit was doing the most for this small game. She huffed as she slid her paw. Like an epic action cinema battle scene was about to play and cause the whole audition to scream at the top of their lungs. Well - not that it really matters in a world of cats. She lunged the moss-ball into the air, seeing it fly into the air in a huge radius. She waited to see it land in the kit jaws. Surely it would?

The sudden adrenaline of it going over Mottlekits head hit her in a matter of seconds. She sent the ball too far! She panicked as she looked towards Mottlekit. Would the tom catch the ball in time? She gulped. The ball seemed to be going in slow-motion as the audience were waiting with their hearts beating out of their chest. When she realized it was actually just right on top of Mottlekits head ready to dive down. She yelped looking towards Mottlekit with widened eyes. "Mottlekit watch out! Oh Starclan-" A small gasp escaped her.

The kit saw the ball hovering the air, he grinned as his emerald eyes sparkled. The sudden adrenaline made him feel like he was pounding across the ground. Ready to strike a cat and make his moves epically vicious. But.. that wasn’t exactly the case at all. The ball.. seemed to be going over his head? He snorted as Quailfur began to panic for him. He held his tail up high, confidence was sparking in him at the moment. "I got it! I got it!" He backed up, the ball seemed to be teasing him with how much air time its having at the moment. stuck up ball why won’t you just drop down and make me look cool! Mottlekit felt an evil grin escape the ball, his brow twitched with irritation.

He ran back, his eyes following the ball. The ball seemed to finally drop, moss went flying towards him. He grinned as he yowled. "It’s coming this way! I got it! I-" Instead the ball was coming to him face first. He shook in place. As he realized this, he tripped over air with his hind paw. He flailed around panicking. "I don’t have it! I don’t have it!-" The moss-ball slammed into his face as it sent his scrawny body rolling and tumbling into the clearing. How embarrassing!

shadefur noticed all the glances she was receiving, pelt prickling with unease, she never liked so many cats looking at her, which was quite different than when she was an apprentice.

icepelt recognized shadefurs retirement as breaking their promise, shadefur wouldnt be able to keep it and protect her like she had said she would all those moons ago. surely not, shadefur would keep her promise, right?
