Hollowstorm looked at Flintfang. That was not the response he had expected. He had expected to be yelled at, to be, well, made fun of. But Flintfang, he was being symapthetic. "Thanks...'' he managed to mumble. He realized Flintfang was leaving to go back to camp. He quickly followed after. He matched his steps with the silver tom's. He had to ask this.

"Would you like... for us to be friends?

"You seem like the type of cat I want to be friends with. You're nice, you're sympathetic, and... I had never thought of it before. I had always been a solitary cat. It just seems like a good idea now. I think I'm opening up. he said.

There had been a weight on his shoulders, so heavy that he could hardly move. That weight had been lifted. He felt free now. Maybe it was time for him to have a true friend, not someone he loved. Just someone he could talk to.

(Why, when i was writing this, did I consider making Hollow gay?)

Lips pursed and sage orbs twinkled with slight amusement at Hollowstorm's words. "Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now." He joked lightly, and then shrugged. "But alright. 'Suppose we can be friends." The silver-furred tom agreed after a moment, inclining his head.

Rolling his shoulders, Flintfang nodded briefly to Lilycreek and Silverpaw, (wondering where Goldenleaf had gone), and then trotted off towards RiverClan's camp.
