Hollowstorm looked at Flintfang. That was not the response he had expected. He had expected to be yelled at, to be, well, made fun of. But Flintfang, he was being symapthetic. "Thanks...'' he managed to mumble. He realized Flintfang was leaving to go back to camp. He quickly followed after. He matched his steps with the silver tom's. He had to ask this.
"Would you like... for us to be friends?
"You seem like the type of cat I want to be friends with. You're nice, you're sympathetic, and... I had never thought of it before. I had always been a solitary cat. It just seems like a good idea now. I think I'm opening up. he said.
There had been a weight on his shoulders, so heavy that he could hardly move. That weight had been lifted. He felt free now. Maybe it was time for him to have a true friend, not someone he loved. Just someone he could talk to.
(Why, when i was writing this, did I consider making Hollow gay?)

➣ Following after Sunstone with Beestream, the fluffy black-and-white apprentice moved swiftly and silently through the undergrowth. The three of them made it to Haven Springs in no time and Cloudpaw was pleased to finally be able to get to work. His light blue-hued gaze glanced over at the pools of water as the patrol passed them by. Thick steam rolled over the water’s surface, warming the chilly air and giving the young tomcat some comforting warmth for a short moment. He had only pleasant memories in this place, remembering that Moonfrost—his mother—had taught him how to swim as a very young apprentice. Stars above, Cloudpaw just remembered how tiny he had been back then, practically looking like a nursery kitten still. Thankfully, he was much bigger now. He was thirteen moons old and gone through a growth spurt in the recent moons seemingly. If only Swansong or Kestrelstar could see him now, haha. They probably wouldn't even recognize Cloudpaw.
Being drawn away from his own thoughts, the RiverClan apprentice stopped and turned to look at the massive patrol leader. He nodded to Sunstone’s words, immediately moving away from the group to search for marigold and thyme. Luckily, it appeared that the yellow flowers were plentiful around here, meaning everyone could get some marigold to take back to Marigoldleap, which was kinda amusing in a way only Cloudpaw understood. He turned his head towards Beestream, who seemed to have found something interesting. The black-and-white youth wasted no time in bounding over to look at the plant that the warrior had found, which had thick-looking leaves. But what was the other thing the medicine cat had said? It had a fresh tang. What the hell did that even mean? Probably something to do with the scent or the taste. Cloudpaw didn't know, but was willing to find out. Though it would most likely be deemed a foolish act to taste anything that looked interesting out here.
Oh well. You only live once, right? He bent forward and bit down onto one of the leaves, being met with a sharp taste that he had never experienced before. It made Cloudpaw wince and let it go, shaking his head. “Bleh!” He exclaimed., sticking out his tongue in disgust, “...Yeah, that must be it.” The young tomcat gave a glance towards Beestream before leaning forward again, taking a stalk of those thick, peppery-tasting leaves. There was probably enough for them all to take two, but Cloudpaw took three, just in case. Now, with several bunches of thyme in his jaws, he hopped over to Sunstone, wanting to see if he could get some marigold flowers to go with his thyme. "We found thyme." He said, speech muffled horribly, to the large golden tomcat.

Sunstone stared as he witnessed Cloudpaw take a bite of the plants. Did...did she just..? He blinked, unsure how to react, but billowed a sigh of relief as Cloudpaw confirmed it was thyme. Good grief. "Maybe...it is best to not eat plants you are uncertain of." He suggested, meowing deeply. Although he displayed concern, his whiskers couldn't help but twitch with amusement at her muffled speech. "Better to bring back the wrong herb than...to eat the wrong herb." He chuckled nervously. "Some plants are bad."
The ginger giant turned back towards Beestream and waved her over with his tail. "Let's collect the last of this marigold and head back to camp." He switched his gaze back to the golden flowers and continued snipping the base of the stem with his massive maw. "Try to be careful and snip them closer to the ground...we don't want to ruin the flower itself." Sunstone demonstrated. He wasn't exactly sure how Marigoldleap needed the marigold brought to her, so he wanted to be as delicate and generous with the herb as possible. And by stars did he hope it was actually marigold...
He had about three of them snipped now, which he gently scooped into a neat pile with his massive paws.

Beestream watched cloudpaw eat the plant, unfazed of why cloudpaw was eating it she turned to sunstone then walked over to help grab some marigold. She unshealted a claw and slowly cute the marigold stems. Marigold collects the marigold and looks back at cloudpaw "whats it taste like" she asked curiously
Echoblue took a deep breath as she approached the" welcome to haven spring! my favorite lace where i don't know why i don't come here" she said dropping her tail the molly turned her blind blue eyes aced to the apprentice with a smile on her brood face* im stupid to run into the tree back there* she thought as she still was unhappy about running into the tree where they were last at

She understood how Echoblue felt, with the never really coming here. Dappledpaw's favorite place to be was the apprentices den, but she was never there. The tortoiseshell apprentice looked around, interest sparking in her eyes.

Blizzardsky scowled. So the younger warriors who he went on patrol with had failed to report the patrol. It wasn't his fault that they failed to do that. He was trying to be a good clanmate and let the younger warriors report the patrol, of course they had failed. He growled. He didn't really consider hunting a punishment, but he had already gone hunting.
He stalked through the territory scenting for prey, he caught of whiff of a sparrow and began stalking towards it. He spotted the sparrow pecking at some seeds at the base of a tree so he quietly stalked over to the sparrow before pouncing and quickly killing the sparrow. He then buried the sparrow and resumed his hunting.
As he continued his hunting he scented a squirrel at a tree nearby. He crept up on the squirrel and then pounced killing it. He then spotted a little vole scurrying on the ground which he also quickly killed. He collected all his prey before returning to camp.

➣ Hearing Sunstone’s suggestions, along with the obvious nervousness in his tone, nearly made the fluffy black-and-white apprentice laugh. He choked it back however, knowing if he did, then all the herbs in his mouth would surely go everywhere. Although, Cloudpaw had to admit that there was just something really amusing to him about someone being concerned for his well-being. But now was not the time for such things. They needed to get these herbs back to Marigoldleap so they could be stocking up Fawnpaw’s herb storage. Cloudpaw hoped it would bring a smile to the brown dappled molly’s face to see her den in prime condition once she found her way back home. The large curly-furred youth nodded silently to the patrol leader’s words, letting Sunstone know that he was, in fact, listening and not being disrespectful by any means. What's done was done.
Turning to look over at Beestream once the golden-furred warrior waved her over, Cloudpaw watched as his two clanmates harvested the last of the marigold flowers in a careful way as to not damage the plant. Perhaps he could at least grab one, or maybe two, to go along with the stalks of thyme. Moments later, the RiverClan apprentice’s short ears perked up to the she-cat’s question, regarding the taste of thyme. It took Cloudpaw a short bit to search for the right words to describe it. “Mmm… sharp…like if the smell of the ocean.” He mumbled to Beestream through the leaves that stuck out of his mouth. Once that was said, he would step forward and snip a couple of marigold flowers along with their stems with his front claws. Cloudpaw shoved the other herbs in his mouth, feeling rather successful with his haul on this particular patrol. Looking to Sunstone and Beestream once more, the large RiverClan apprentice did a little jump before taking off back to camp, eager to put the thyme and marigold in his best friend’s storage for future use. "Don't worry, Fawnpaw, I'm helping!" He thought, heart pounding.
