Once leading them to the spot where he’d found the body, he began looking around. Even the smallest amount of dung could give them a lead, some sort of suspect to go off of.

Unfortunately, he didn’t find anything. Whoever must have done this did a very good job of covering their tracks. He hissed in frustration; why couldn’t this murderer just be sloppy and make things simple!?

Slytiger's ears twitched at Darkfall's words and he inclined his head in agreement. "They do," he said softly, before turning his attention back to Shadowfur and the surrounding area. "The killer is definitely smart, then. And since it's so deep in ShadowClan territory, you're probably right about it being one of our own. An outsider wouldn't bother covering their tracks, and another Clan cat would have been caught."

With his thoughts given, the Toyger moved off to investigate, light green eyes scanning the area where the body had been found. There wasn't anything to go off of, and he could only smell dung and ferns. A low hiss left his maw in frustration as he found nothing useful.
