Just breathe," she mewed quietly, words soft and assuring that even if she wasn't now, Blackgaze could recover, pass beyond her traumatic past and recover. Cloversplash end moved to gently licking the deputies head with a repetitive motion, licking the fur down flat and pulling out any tangles that had accumulated from daily life. She moved slowly and surely, trying to help Blackgaze feel grounded and secure. "No one.. No one will hurt you. I won't let them," she murmured softly, almost just to herself. She wouldn't let someone ever verbally abuse Blackgaze- the deputy could fight off any threats that were physical, but she wasn't sure that the she-cat could fend off any more emotional attacks. But with a lifetime and a half behind her, Cloversplash knew how to deal. With all the wisdom from Cloverpetal, her first life, she knew how crippling emotional injuries were. Her first mate, Birchstripe, had been abused as a kit and never been the same. And she wouldn't watch that happen to a friend, not again. After Fogwhisper and Lilybloom, she was willing to jump to the defense of anyone who needed help, regardless of clan or allegiance. "You.. You'll be okay.."

(aaaaaaaa i'm so late replying i'm so sorry ;n; )
Blackgaze gave a soft nod, looking down at her paws even if she couldn't see the snow-smudged black fur that made them up. Her ears were down a little, instead of being upright like most times. She stayed quiet, the molly finding it quite hard to think of anything to say at the moment. So, she didn't speak and risk stuttering and stammering out words. The black she-cat found it a bit awkward to sit here in silence and a bit rude to do so as Cloversplash comforted her. Though, she didn't care at this moment. She needed to calm herself back into her strong mental state before she broke into some kind of panic attack. That would be bad, all the RiverClanners seeing their deputy panic in the middle of camp. She would be showing weakness, and as she's already blind, that would tend to damage her reputation. The inky-furred molly looked up again, pale and milky green eyes just staring off into the depths of the blackness that she saw. Still, you could see the emotions in her gaze that swirled and shimmered.
