His chest welled with happiness and he couldn't be more pleased with who his mentor would be. it was a warrior that he already knew, which made things easier. She seemed to respect him for what he was too, not what his mother was. It made him smile as she ran over and he touched his nose to hers as is custom. Though he didn't say anything past that, and waited respectfully for the leader to finish announcing the new apprentices. Once Halestar was done he looked over at the molly and smiled. "I'm glad you will be my mentor." He said to her, his voice honest and filled with excitement. He wondered what they would start with and where their training would take them. He wanted to live up to his father's name and become a great warrior, and a perfect hunter.

The snowy white warrior blinked and processed the toms statement, trying to figure out if it was true or not. After a few seconds of thinking she replaced her puzzled gaze with a softer, less sharp smile, her green orbs glittered with joy. She had grown to like the Tom, he was always so cheery and sweet, polite and caring, he reminded of herself really, although he had a little more self esteem than herself. She shuffled her ebony paws and gave her new apprentice a goofy grin, "I'm happy that you feel the same way I do." she purred, her voice was soft and silky, and she really was, she was overjoyed that Mountainpaw had become her apprentice, she couldn't have asked for a more capable Tom. "I am excited to teach you all I know! And then some of course." she giggled, her tail flicked. Sheepface twitched her whiskers and realized that he may be itching to get going, although she wasn't. She gave the young Tom a shy smile and dipped her head "We'll start your training first thing in the morning, for now, get some rest alright?" she stated before she padded back towards the nursery, hoping that Mountainpaw wouldn't mind her decision.
