"Yes, it does," Heathernose sighed.

She greatly regretted going missing, even if it had been accidental, and now that the time to explain herself to Twilightstar had come, Heathernose found herself worried that the leader may not be satisfied by what she had to offer. All Heather wanted was to see Shockholly and collapse into her nest but the hard truth was that that may not even be an option anymore. It was well within Twilightstar's rights to send her packing and the thought made the warrior's tired limbs want to start shaking.

"Firstly, I want to apologize. My break from the clan wasn't intentional, but I should have known better. I went for a walk one day to clear my head and since I was pretty stressed, I went a lot farther than usual. I was in the outskirts and bumped into a badger who thankfully must not have seen me since it didn't chase when I took off running. The only problem was that I ran in odd patterns to make sure it couldn't follow and found myself fairly lost. It took me a bit longer to make my way back I think because a storm came through before long and all but washed away my scent trail. At least prey was plentiful so I didn't starve and I bumped into a friendly cat who knew of the clans and could point me in the right direction. Now, here I am."
