"Yes, it does," Heathernose sighed.

She greatly regretted going missing, even if it had been accidental, and now that the time to explain herself to Twilightstar had come, Heathernose found herself worried that the leader may not be satisfied by what she had to offer. All Heather wanted was to see Shockholly and collapse into her nest but the hard truth was that that may not even be an option anymore. It was well within Twilightstar's rights to send her packing and the thought made the warrior's tired limbs want to start shaking.

"Firstly, I want to apologize. My break from the clan wasn't intentional, but I should have known better. I went for a walk one day to clear my head and since I was pretty stressed, I went a lot farther than usual. I was in the outskirts and bumped into a badger who thankfully must not have seen me since it didn't chase when I took off running. The only problem was that I ran in odd patterns to make sure it couldn't follow and found myself fairly lost. It took me a bit longer to make my way back I think because a storm came through before long and all but washed away my scent trail. At least prey was plentiful so I didn't starve and I bumped into a friendly cat who knew of the clans and could point me in the right direction. Now, here I am."

leafpaw stepped out of the medicine cat den he neck didn't hurt much anymore it had been a little bit since he joined windclan he hadn't started training yet so he was bored he wanted to come out to see if there was anything to do @FlamePoint

ReedKit sat in the vast sunlight, sulking. Treekit was too young to play with her and all the other kits were doing something else. She sighed, her huge, fluffy tail curling around her.

She watched the apprentice walk out of the Medicine Den and saw opportunity. She bounded towards the formerly injured apprentice, calling loudly. “Hi, LeafPaw!”

"hi reedkit how are you" he said to the kit. leafpaw adored kits and with nothing to do he asked "do you want to play?" he knew the kit would say yes but he wanted to ask first

Her face was lit up with pure joy as he said that. “Of course I do!” She started bouncing around with glee. “Yay! LeafPaw is gonna play with me!” As she stopped, she looked up curiously at him. ”So, what do you wanna play?”

The kit exclaimed how surprised of how good of ideas he had. “Yes! Yes! Yes!” She was ecstatic watching him make that moss ball. She usually didn’t get to play with anyone, so all of her deprived joy came flooding onto LeafPaw. She couldn’t keep still. ”I’m gonna get that moss ball so good it won’t even know where it came from!”

Rushingmoor shot a grin at Breezefeather, silently promising that he wouldn’t let him down. The older tom certainly needed cats to start coming through for him so Rush would do just that. Now just to wait for this Brightpaw and get on their way.

“Brightpaw!”

Meanwhile, Rushingmoor walked to the entrance to wait.

[ @Arie ] should we ask rain if they can go see Cold?

Rushingmoor glowered at Stagpaw and swiped a paw at him as though he was trying to steal his tongue.

“Watch it, kid, or I’ll swipe that tongue right out of your mouth. Come to think of it- I might do that anyway. It would be nice to have some peace and quiet for a change.”

The paw patting his head nearly cut him off and Mushy merely grumbled under his breath some more. Swiping upward with his paw, the striped warrior waved Stagpaw’s paw away and snorted grumpily.

“To Old it is.”

Lifting himself to his paws, Rush used his tail to hold up the draping fronds of the den and motioned for Stagpaw to go through. From this angle, Rushingmoor remembered that they were in the warrior’s den and grimaced to himself as he thought of the angry warriors trying to sleep and who likely wanted to cut out both of their tongues and feed them to badgers.

leafpaw purred with pleasure. "ok im going to roll the moss ball, you pretend its a mouse running by you as soon as it stops try to get it" he rolled the ball in front of the little kit and was exited to see what they did "when you get it bring it back to me and ill be your clan! ok?"
