he's been here for so very long, the Tom padded along the starry path, sniffing the air and enjoying the warmth. his eyes widened when he saw a kit...barely a moon old. the poor thing. "what's a young'in like you doin out here" he meowed with a gruff tone, padding over to talk to the kitten, he wondered what clan this kit was from...

"Oh!" Moonrisekit's eyes widened and her tail puffed up, startled. Well... He definitely wasn't the strange cat she's been seeing... "Hi! I'm just exploring. I've seen someone near here and wanted to make sure I wasn't hallucinating." She peaked around the larger tom, bright eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

"Have you seen someone that looks kinda like me but duller and bigger?" She finally decided to ask, paw lifted into the air. "Oh, and they also have a very very short tail. Unlike mine. Mine's long! Theirs is not. I've seen it. They won't talk to me though."

he hums gently as he sits down with a huff "hmm...dunno kitto...I need more th'in dat, ever thought that maybe they was livin cats?" he meowed as he got up and gently nudged the kit "come on, ain't no one told ya how to watch over ya own birth clan?" he meowed. that's how they watched over their family and evvrythin!

Moonrisekit blinked. Living cat? But this was StarClan! Dead cats resided here.

"I dunno, they just disappear whenever I get close to them... I don't think they're living! I mean, only dead cats are here at StarClan!" She pointed out, cocking her head to the side. She giggled when she was nudged. "Birth Clan? I... Uh... I dunno what a Clan is... Or if I'm even from one. I don't remember anything from before I was born. Maples told me I was likely a Clan cat, though! Do you have any idea?"

he hums as he begins to walk with the kit. "hmm...not sure lil one." he meows after a moment "must be somethin wrong wit starclan then..." he grumbles after a moment. the stars in his fur flicker a bit. its come to the point where the Tom looks to be...turning into nothing. "now, let us see, livin cats can be pulled from dreams ta here...but for some reason I havent been able ta get in contact wit my great granddaughter." he growls softly.
