The Abandoned Alleyways

The Abandoned Alleyways are a part of the twolegsplace that is completely abandoned. It borders a part of the forest that is untouched, and offers hunting opportunities as well as places to scrounge for food. There are many abandoned buildings, and places live in safety. It is very difficult to get to, as it is a half-moon away from the clans territory, and to get there, a cat has to go through the busiest parts of the twolegplace.

Shadow, a young she-cat about 7 moons old, pads out of her makeshift den in one of the abandoned twolegs dens. She heads to the forest, intending to hunt for a meal.

A young, little grey kit walked quietly through a old, abandoned Twoleg place. She was lost, terribly lost.

Shadow catches the scent of something new. A cat. She follows it, her curiosity piqued.

Moon tensed, letting out a little squeak. What was that new smell? Why had she never scented it before?

Shadow follows the scent, making good time despite her slight limp. When she gets there, she stops and watches the kit for a second, not wanting a confrontation with its parents if they're here. When it's apparent that they're not, she approaches the kit cautiously, but curiously. "Uh . . . Hello. What's your name, and where are your parents?"

The kit squeaked again, then darted behind a nearby rock. After a moment, she peeked around it and said quietly, ¨I-i am Moon. My mommy was somewhere but I got lost... here.¨ She did not notice that what she said was not very helpful.
