ghostly, too. gaunt, like a skeleton awakened, fresh and new. a harsh gust might knock him over. maybe if you look at him, he'll stagger and fall down, then stare at you with disgust at your lack of civility.

to really complete the look, he would have to be old, nothing more than dust and decaying bones. (un)fortunately, goldenshrike's young; he barely clocks in at 25 moons, though that might make it even worse that he's so highly strung and stoic.
