Q: What is this finder?

A: Hehehe, well well well, it is a love finder, but there's a twist!! A really mischievous, admittedly evil, twist! Well, not that evil, I love owl, but like, evil enough. So... Semi evil. Kinda depends on what happens.

THE GIST

Owlstar has never been in love before. Ever. At least, not romantically. She remembered the standard when she was younger, that she'd find a mate someday, like everycat did, and she'd be happy and have a stupid amount of kits to take care of. But that didn't come. In fact, the feeling that those she-cat's had described to her time and time again never came to her.

Owlstar (then Owlpaw) tried, truly tried to catch feelings for somecat, anycat, just to fill a social norm, fit into a pretty little box. She did want children, but she never got the partner that she supposed came with it. Owlstar has since come to terms with the fact that she may just not feel romantically for anycat. Maybe not in this lifetime, and she's content.

So when new feelings come, best believe she's confused.

Q: Is this a heartbreak finder?

A: In a way, yes! A select few cats chosen will either have unrequited love for owl or the other way around! Though, of course, the latter is the goal here. While I am definitely open to the prospect of a long term relationship, the vibes gotta match man! The vibesss!

Q: What happens after the possible heartbreak?

A: If your cat is being rejected, it is preferred they don't throw a silly little fit. I'd like for the pair to at the very least remain friends! Plus, Owlstar cannot stand overgrown kits. If Owlstar is being rejected, it's likely she'll take it as well as she can, being new to this thing is scary for her. It'll hurt, oh definitely, might even slow her down a bit, but this gal doesn't stay in limbo for long!

WHO IS OWLSTAR?

Funny question! Good thing she has a TOYHOUSE! Owlstar is a very level headed cat, very rooted in her beliefs and tries to be as fair as she can in any given situation. She's big on family and familiar connections, finding them what makes any clan strong. Order and community. Owlstar is also a rule follower, to an extent. If there's something she feels should be broken, she'll break it. Also, it's just fun to do.

Owlstar is pretty emotional. She tries really hard to be stoic when the time calls for it, but she was never good at hiding what she feels. So, she has a terrible poker face, everything can be read with a single look!

Owlstar is good at weighing her options, but that doesn't mean she's not impulsive. Sometimes, she just doesn't think. I mean, c'mon, thinking all the time is pretty boring anyways! She also guts prey as a silly hobby! So like, if that's you're jam, she'll likely bond over that alone!

As stated previously, THIS WILL BE A SLOW BURN. It will take long for Owlstar to catch any form of romantic feelings. Your cat can fall for her long before that (or not lol, it can be one sided), but Owlstar will take a longer time. This whole thing could take from five months up to a year, so you've really gotta be ready for that! I love my gal, and if Imma let her catch the feels™, it's gotta take awhile before anything comes of it.

Cats must be within the 45 AND 55 RANGE. Owlstar is currently 51 MOONS. HECK YEAH SHE'S OLD! Owlstar will not fall for anycat for just for their pelt color of a small, simple, maybe even consistent acts, that can be chalked up to kindness. Nah, that doesn't work. She has to be FRIENDS with them before even catching feelings. That's just how it goes! They have to build a friendship, or nothing will come of it!

THE GENERAL GOAL ISN'T EXACTLY TO FIND OWLSTAR A MATE, BUT RATHER A FEW GOOD FRIENDS, AND ANGST (+emotional resilience :0). WHETHER OR NOT SHE ENDS UP WITH A PARTNER DEPENDS ON WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS!!

IN COMES DIZZYBUG WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!!!!!

I’d like to offer up Dizzybug for Owlstar! Here’s some stuff about the guy:

Dizzy’s genderfaun (prefers they/he prns), so basically they never, or at most very rarely, identify with any feminine genders. Also, he is pan + demi too! Hopefully no issues there.

Agewise, Dizzybug is 48 moons old. Even if they act a bit silly and kitlike most of the time, they’re actually surprisingly older than what most cats assume. Being silly and happy most of the time just keeps him grounded, and that’s that.

Speaking of personalities, Dizzybug is the epitome of silliness. As their namesake, they like bugs. Lots of bugs. But Dizzybug also likes other things — trinkets! Their favoruite thing to do is to COLLECT. Bug molts, shiny rocks, feathers, flowers, Dizzy just adores the stuff! He has a collection of most of his findings in his nest. Unfortunately, a fishing spider molt in the warrior den that looks SUSPICIOUSLY ALIVE doesn’t really just get overlooked by other cats.
Anyway, Dizzybug is a generally happy-go-lucky cat! They enjoy helping out others, making others smile too, and their biggest dream is to make every cat in the clans happy forever. Awesome stuff!

But how will he get along with Owlstar, you may ask? Well, it’ll probably start with them becoming her friend — cheering her on in tough times, being an overall friendly cat, and also they’d probably give her a bunch of gifts (and not fishing spider molts. Probably), which might nudge her into the direction of becoming his friend, and later getting much closer to her in the future! And then.. BAM!!!!!!!!!! Some sort of unrequited love happens. I’d prefer if Dizzybug wasn’t the first one to.. yknow.. fall in love, considering I CANNOT for the life of me write crushes well. I could probably give it a go, but I can’t promise it’ll be too good. If they finally get together, Dizzy will probably be a cat that’s able to calm Owlstar down during times of crisis, and just generally be a very chill husband. Whoop whoop that’s love business or whatever.

Anyway, that’s all. Hope you consider Dizzybug for husband of the year!!!
