They arrive in silence and darkness.

They descend from the skies.

They have a hunger for human flesh.

They are everywhere.

They are parasites, alien creatures who must invade- and take control of- a human host to survive.

And once they have infected their victims, they can assume any deadly form they choose: monsters with giant teeth, winged demons, creatures with blades for hands.

But most have chosen to conceal their lethal purpose behind ordinary human faces.

So no one knows their secret...

So this is based on the anime Parasyte - I do recommend it, but you don't really need to watch the show prior to roleplaying as long as you read the above paragraph you should be all set - I will also throw in some things right below that might help.

For those who don't know the show~

- Whatever species you take over (human, dog, cat, ect.) the Parasyte is cannibalistic - meaning it will eat other humans, dogs, cats, ect. that have not been taken over by the Parasytes.
-Though some of them are currently trying to eat the food that their hosts would so they can blend in better among humans
-Parasytes can sense other Parasytes and can usually tell how far away they are from them. They can also tell if the other Parasyte is scared, has murderous intent, or is calm (and ect.)
-Some humans are now a bit aware of the Parasytes, but they can't really tell the difference between a Parasytes and a human, dog, ect. To figure it out, they have to pull out hairs of the Parasytes, and if the hairs squirm and seems to be in pain than it's a Parasyte
-The only thing that could kill a Parasyte is if their host body is damaged beyond repair. If this is the case, than they can switch hosts - this is done by cutting the head off another being and replacing it

For those of you who's seen the show, than we are allowed to roleplay as some of the characters from the show. I will be rping as Hirama as well as an OC of mine. Shinichi and Migi are currently on hold - you can leave a comment on my profile if you want to play him, I just don't want to give him away to just anyone since I want my character to interact with him a lot.

Personality- Keita is similar to many other Parasytes in the way that he comes off emotionless and even cold - but in truth he is more of a pacifist rather than someone who's violent. Of course, due to still having a small part of the human brain from his host, he is capable of slight human emotions, though nothing too strong. He can be merciful,but will kill without hesitation if given a reason to do so. He can be rational and level-headed, not easily angered and hard to get him to let his anger rule his decisions. With that said, Keita doesn't usually let his feelings get in the way of and determine his actions, though he does usually try to take a more peaceful route and does not enjoy to unnecessarily shed blood. He can seem smart, but also naive at the same time, being confused on both human nature and the nature of the Parasytes. He makes innocent mistakes at times - usually when it comes to understanding humans.
Other- Due to his host going brain dead as he was taking over, the Parasyte wasn't able to destroy the entire brain before he settled into the body and made it his host. This makes him a bit different from other Parasytes - since he still had some of the human brain, he also is capably of having human emotions - though they are weak compared to how actual humans feel. This brings him to the attention of some Parasytes that may find him a bit interesting and might want to investigated more into his situation.
Also, due to being attached to the human brain remains he has an attachment to his host body, making him unable to switch hosts if his body is too badly damaged so he must be much more careful about what happens to his body than other Parasytes.
He's homosexual / homoromantic - but this is considered stupid and useless by other Parasytes because he can't breed this way, and they don't understand how he could be attracted to the same gender.

Kiru is a relatively tall and light skinned male, his hair fairly short, but not as short as a buzz cut. More often than not, he can be seen dressed in fancy black clothes wearing either a red or black tie, but at the very least looks presentable. He is built sturdy, but not very large, rather average when considering his size, his hands large but known for their precision in what he does. And finally, he has deep blue eyes that sometimes appear black in the right lighting.
Personality (TBRP'ed is accepted)- Kiru is one of the more violent of Parasyte's, not afraid to get gory or bloody and has sometimes been known to explode and go on a killing spree, though has gotten quite good at covering up any sort of mess he's made, and he's not too friendly to other Parasyte's either. But just like any other Parasyte, he feels no human emotion, nothing at all, but has gotten very good at replicating them. Around humans, for the most part, he plays a polite, quiet son of a butcher who does as he's told and does what he does with pride.
Other- The host he inhabited was named Kiru, a word meaning Butcher, because his father's side of the family has been in the butcher business for quite some time and the host had been following in his fathers foot steps, while his mother had been the director of a funeral home, creating quite the morbid atmosphere, and yet Kiru had always seemed rather cheerful, something that the Parasyte has successfully mimicked and continued on.

Keita laid in the middle of a large park in a grassy area. He usually just stayed at the place that he was currently calling 'home'. It was strange, not just for him, but the family of his host. They didn't know he was a parasyte, but they had noticed that he was off. When he had first taken over his host, he wasn't aware that he would be dragged into a 'family', and was now trying to live the life of the human host - if they found out about him, there was chance they would do something to him that could kill him.

Self preservation. It was first nature.

He was still unaware that he still had some of the human brain left, therefore didn't know that the capability of human emotions - no matter how weakly he experienced them - wasn't normal for his species. But then again, he hadn't really communicated with his own species and was usually only around his host's family. So besides his instinct, he knew little about what his species was and even little about the human race as well.

So he stared at the bright sky from the ground he laid on. He knew they came from the sky. He knew their first though was to kill - kill so they could live inside a host. Keita furrowed his pale gaze but then closed his eyes. He hated thinking about himself. He realized how little he knew, and when he pondered on that, he felt like a useless idiot similar to many of these humans. He hated feeling that way. What are the other parasytes like...?
