Pokemon RP - Open Edition!
(Alright so, I know I've made two other Pokemon RPs but both of those are private and I want this one to just be an open RP where fellow Pokemon fans can come and interact as well as leave as they see fit because I grew up on these little pocket monsters and I've loved them for years so finally getting to interact with others who share those feelings is a huge experience that I really enjoy! Hope you have fun!)
In the middle of the desert stood a huge stone temple in the shape of a pyramid with yellow dusty bricks and cracked pillars. Inside, however, it all appeared to be almost brand new and all that was possible thanks to the Ghost Gang. You see, this pyramid used to be feared by every Pokemon and trainer due to its insane amount of ghost types lurking in its shadows waiting to kidnap any trespassers...but that's not the whole truth. Yes this pyramid was swarming with ghost types but honestly? They were just lonely, they wanted to make friends with all kinds of Pokeon and be caught and trained by strong trainers but everyone was too afraid to give them a chance. So, to remedy this, they began to fix up the temple, polishing it, hanging up lights and making it more of a market place than an old worshipping religious area.
Now, many Pokemon from around the world come to visit this place with their trainers but the Pokemon that lived there made a rule, no catching any wild Pokemon in this sanctuary. Here Pokemon and humans can live and play freely and with no cost as long as they follow this rule, battles are also allowed in specific areas but to get to those areas, the Pokemon or trainer must talk to a staff member and they can be a bit difficult to find well, aside from the owner. The owner of this place is a huge Cofagrigus, taller than any other in existence at 10' tall and the old people of this land say that he was the coffin for the God of the Dead himself. He has amazing battle prowess and some trainers have even tried to catch him in the past but it was no use, even asleep he denied them the chance by knocking out even level 100s in mere seconds. The best part about him though is that he owns a large coffee shop in the center of the temple's first floor, managed by Golets, Golurks, Yamasks, and even a few Haunters, Gengars, and Ghastlys.
On this fine day in the temple, Cofagrigus awoke to the sound of shopkeepers setting up their shops all around the main establishment which meant it was time for him to appear. He let out a long, guttural groan as his facepiece shifted to reveal his true face, a smiling, sharp-toothed smile with glowing red eyes. He stretched out his long, black arms, using two as feet as he reached his top two out in front of him and clapped 3 times, causing the Golurks around him to stir from their motionless slumber and begin setting up the tables and chairs as the Golets and Yamasks began to get to work in the kitchen, flipping on the lanterns and being momentarily startled by the light before quickly finding their way to the pots and pans. The Haunters, Ghastlys, and Gengars all appeared from the shadows at once and put on large, white serving aprons as they lit the lanterns in the other parts of the restaurant and Cofagrigus watched with a small sigh at his work, he did this and this place was like this because of him and his friends. He watched the door intently, waiting to see who his first customer would be today.
