This feline isn’t afraid to share his mind. From his quick remarks to his public disdain if a cat (in his mind) is in the wrong, he’ll share nearly anything that he believes is important. Well, sometimes important. He does have a slightly sharp tongue. Whether it’s all in good fun or him trying to put another in their place, it seems like no one is safe from Hollowedasters antics. That being said, this tom is… well he doesn’t care what comes out of his mouth. To him a fact is a fact, and he shouldn’t be afraid to announce it to the whole wide world. He doesn’t seem to understand the saying of “words cut deeper than claws”, and goes by his principle to always say what he believes.

On another note, Aster is quite a social butterfly, at times. It’s like he just can’t stop talking. One of the felines favorite hobbies is to get to meet new cats; it’s just what he likes to do. Especially if they have a little friendly debate, oh he just loves the idea of two sides having a casual go at each other.

He loves flowers. Their scent, the ways their petals fold onto each other or sprout perfectly apart from the stem, and everything about them. Especially lilies, daffodils, and dahlias. Those are by far
his absolute favorites. Oh and sunsets. He loves to stare at the beautiful arrange of colors perfectly swirled on the canvas of dark blue.

However, he doesn’t particularly like showing his feelings all that much. Sure, he’ll show his happiness a bit. But that’s about it. Call it stoic or whatever you want, but he isn’t a big feelings guy. It’s especially difficult for him because of how easily he gets flustered. Even the smallest suggestive remark can leave him fumbling over his words panic setting in his yellow eyes. Oh and teasing, that sends him into a frenzy alright. He looks like a deer in headlights, unsure what to say or do. Of course he tries to immediately hide it, but it’s usually easy to see through the act.

Backstory

Hollowedkit was born to “normal” parents. Both his parents were decent, average warriors. Nothing special. Once the litter of three were born, it was apparent that two of them weren’t healthy. One of the kits, Dustykit, was dead at birth. And due to complications of their birth, Hollowed’s brother, Icekit, was born with his back side crushed. That left Hollowedkit the only healthy child of the two. Icekit and Hollow were good friends, and even though the
former couldn’t move all that well. That made it all the more devastating when, at 5 moons, Spectral finally lost of life.

The young feline didn’t have much time to mourn, since just a moon later he became an apprentice. Whitelight and Honeyblaze tried their best to keep on a happy face for their sole surviving kit, but after a while the facade broke. Honeyblaze was now completely overcome by grief. Hollowedpaws father tried to comfort her the best he could, but to no avail.

Hollowed’s training was going well, and he was just coming back from a successful hunt when he saw his mother’s corpse. He had known that she wasn’t eating much lately, but he had no idea how severe it had gotten. The now family of two were thrown into a now familiar cycle of grief.

Late into his apprenticeship, when some of his friends were fancying mollies or whatnot, he meet a she-cat named Flamepaw but was taken by another tom called Tigerpaw

Newly named Hollowedaster was living as an average warrior now. He hunted, went on patrols, that sort of thing. Everything was fine. But then, of course the Peacekeeper battle rolled around. He did alright in it, though he did walk away with a long scar on his hind leg. Though, like all of his family members before, Whitelight didn’t survive. Blood loss was what killed him. He had multiple gashes oozing the red liquid and eventually, he just ran out. The now all-too-familiar mourning cycle continued, until Aster continued on with his warrior duties.
