Flea’s Territory ( OPEN )

( This RP is open to almost everyone. However, their OC must be a loner/rogue, exiled cat, or a clan cat that was taking a stroll. )
( Flea is a grey tom with even darker grey splotches covering his right ear, left eye, tail tip, and right paw. He is apprentice age. )
( This is set to be after Cloverwish’s rejoining. )
The air hummed a satisfying hum as a small cat laid down in the grass, munching on a skinny rat that he had caught. It was basically just skin and bones. And so was he. A cricket jumped on a rock, and he was ready to pounce on the chirping insect. He missed, clumsily hitting his face lightly on the rock. ` ` Ow! That’s the tenth cricket that got away.. ` `

[Rani]

Ankur was a sneaky cat when he needed to be. And so when he spied this cat badly hunting bugs of all things and he had nothing better to do with his day he had no problem with sneaking up and watching this disaster. Ankur was far enough to just barley hear the words when he finally spoke up. "Well Im not surprised young one, you move with potential but also an obvious lack of training." His words were haughty but he still jumped down to give some helpful pointers. "If you tuck your back legs under your body more and use your front legs to stabilise yourself and aim your pounces will be stronger and more precise." He told while he straightened the fur on his ears with a paw.

` ` Oh, thanks! ` ` He paused, turning around. ` `Waaaaait. Who are you? ` `

[Rani]

Ankur chuckled at the response. "I am Ankur little one. Here." He moved closer and nudged the kit to stand up and crouched down to demonstrate. "Watch my stance here Im low to the ground but am keeping my tail and belly off to prevent the fur from dragging and creating sound. My feet are close under my belly but far appart enough to be stable." He got back up and gestured a paw to the other tom. "Try it."

Doing as the other cat instructed, he crouched somewhat similar to the other tom, looking for another bug that he could pounce on.

[Rani]

He watched the small toms attempt nudging his side to push him to a more stable position. "Right theres a bug over there remember to watch where your steps are going to make sure you don't step on anything loud." And he stepped back to watch the kits attempt, if this went well maybe he'd show the kit how to hunt proper prey by demonstration. That kit defiantly needed some more meat on him.

(Ankur is a mean cat sometimes but he can be very fond of kits)

" Okay. " He crouched, getting closer to the bug, inch by inch. When he got close enough, he pounced, his teeth landing on the crunchy creature. " I did it! "

Ankur chucked at the kittens enthusiasm. "Congratulations, you're a natural! That crouch can be used against most types of ground prey, though it needs to be slightly altered for flying and swimming prey." He looked over the kits skinny frame and did a mental evaluation of the area and likleyhood of finding something he could catch (Ankur was well aware of how bad he was at hunting some types of prey) before speaking up. "Here I can show you how to use that method on prey thats actually worth eating." He curled his lip at the bug uugh he certainly wouldn't eat that himself. "What is your name anyway little one? Why are you here all alone?"
