If you want to participate, this is open to cats who meet the requirements:

How it works is Fawn will teach a batch of ~2-3 herbs per post (approximately one every 24h). If your character reacts to that post, your character has that knowledge. If you miss a round of posting, your character will not have the knowledge that was taught in the post. Questions at the end of the session.

Fawnsqueak had assembled cats that.. would maybe prove to be somewhat competent if in a dire situation, or at least he hoped he could get them there before this session concluded. Clearing his throat, he pawed at the ground, offered the smallest of shy smiles. "Okay, hey," he greeted, eyes briefly grazing faces before lowering to the assortment of herbs he'd prepared for the occasion. "If you're here, I'm-- guessing you want to learn how to patch up wounded clanmates, and.. if you're not here for that, you're probably in the wrong place." Alright. Yeah. That would about cover it.

If they didn't get the gist from that, he imagined they would figure out whether they wanted to stay or flee within the next few seconds as he continued on. "These.." his eyebrows scrunched together as it stuck to his paw, "these are cobwebs. And they're kind of uncooperative right now, but you'd use them on bleeding wounds. You, uh, press them on, and then don't stop holding if the bleeding is severe." It wasn't that he wanted to be condescending about this, but having a foundational knowledge was integral to moving to more complicated subjects. "If the bleeding is lighter, I kind of prefer using mushroom strips. Make sure it's not the poisonous kind--if they glow, don't.. use it. Seriously. Anyway, you make them into strips and put that on the wound so it soaks up blood and also disinfects it."

Flyfur was just the tiniest bit confused why it wouldn't be common knowledge to apply pressure to a badly bleeding wound, or that you should use cobwebs to help with bleeding.
If Fawnsqueak wanted to teach by starting with basics, she really shouldn't complain. It was probably best, anyway.
But the mushroom part was pretty cool.
When it was evident the cobwebs didn't want to come off, Flyfur leaned foward a little.
"Would you, uh. Like help getting those off your paw?"

Goosefury blinked at the cobwebs, his brows pinching together. He knew about cobwebs - every cat did, or at least he thought they did. but he had to admit, the part about the mushrooms was pretty neat, and useful. His flipped his tail over his paws thoughtfully. Mushrooms, strips, make sure they don't glow. Did mushrooms glow? He'd never seen ones that did.

Of course Lionstar had to be here. Where else would he be, if not with his Fawn? His cute, handsome, stunning, just downright adorable Fawn who had cheeks he wanted to squeeze. (Or eat.)

Lionstar didn't really care about the herb aspect of this - he knew about cobwebs, he was a Cobweb Connoisseur, and he didn't mind the mushroom strip thing, but what he was REALLY into was watching Fawn. The little smile, the pawing, how he fought the cobweb on his paw, oh, how cute. Lionstar reached over to catch Fawn's paw, snatching the cobweb away in the process before he leaned in to boop his cheek.

"Deerling, you're cute when plants kick your furry little butt."

"You mean this isn't the 'Learn how to stab other's with fish bone's' Learning session?" The Calliby asked as he had gotten himself comfortable. By comfortable, he was laying down. Head resting upon his paws. When he heard that their Medicine Cat was holding a Session to learn how to actually use the stuff that was plastered on him he didn't hesitate. Bleeding out wasn't a way he wanted to go. Maybe peacefully was cool...or surrounded by dog corpses. That'd also be cool.

As Fawnsqueak fiddled with the Cobwebs he rolled onto his side. "But it'd be easier to see in the dark with the glowing Mushrooms. Didn't even realize they could glow to be fair." he chuckled. "But on a more serious note, Mushrooms for light bleeding, cobwebs for ... lots of blood loss." he trailed off at the end of his question as Lionstar began to speak up.

Gentlethunder scooted himself forwards, but not very far, and swiped at the leader. "I didn't come here to listen to your gross attempts at flirting. You're gonna rot whatever herbs he's got stored in here." he said, sticking his tongue out. Frankly he didn't really care, but poking at Bumblebutt was always amusing to him.

The young siamese cat quickly trotted over to the growing cluster of cats. By the stars, he was late. He had almost forgotten about this! Beanpaw arrived just in time to see the medicine cat begin talking. Cobwebs, bleeding. Bleeding bad, hold. Bleeding not bad... mushrooms? Huh, that seemed odd. And what kind of mushrooms glowed?? Maybe he’d have to go glow-y mushroom hunting or something. No, wait. Right, poisonous. So maybe glow-y mushroom watching instead.

Silversong padded in then smiled at Fawnsqueak and said "I would love to learn about herbs I always wanted to have some knowledge of herbs" she did so she really had trouble in the fighting and battle training when she was an apprentice so this would be perfect. @Dipper

Splashleap had been bored, so NATURALLY she was just........wandering around. And when everyone kind of........clumped up, she just HAD to find out what was going on. What it appeared to be was Fawnsqueak stuck in some cobwebs, babbling on about mushrooms and blood. And......GLOWING mushrooms? That sounded COOL! She had to find some of those! Seeing as Fawnsqueak looked quite distressed, she took a step forward, but then Lionstar saved him from the spiders. That was nice of him.

Sparrowskip was super excited to be learning something new for once. It had been pretty boring for the past few moons but this, this was awesome! So cobwebs for heavy bleeding. And mushroom strips that don't glow for light bleeding. Got it! @Dipper
