Snakepaw has been elected medicine cat apprentice (against his will) and now its time for him to learn herbs and form a connection to starclan to better advise the clan on afterlife stuff (or something). Issue is, he's a complete atheist and like Mothwing in the books, therefor doesn't have a connection to starclan. Unlike Mothwing though starclans not gonna let that fly in the slightest!

The plot is this:

During this months medicine cat meeting Snakepaw goes to the starcave and takes a nap against the stone with the other medicine cats. He does dream while there but its a completely normal dream with no ghostly meetings to speak of and goes home with the decision that the whole thing was bogus and fake and everyone is full of it.
On the other side of the coin some starclan cats are freaking out because that shouldn't have happened cats have disbelieved before but they've gotten through anyway, that Snakepaw didn't was not supposed to happen. So the decision is made amongst a small group that they will invade his dreams and bring the tiny ball of anger to the realisation themselves. He however, thinks he's losing it and going insane for awhile, ignoring them and trying to pretend all is normal (though anything they teach him is hesitantly put to use). Finally something big happens (haven't decided what yet) and the truth finally clicks. He will likely still keep in contact with these cats throughout his life especially during starcave meetings.

I am looking for no more than 5 starclan cats to be his guides and teachers (no darkforrest cats, sorry).

• A sassy cat, Snakepaw throws around snark like its going out of style so someone to keep up with him would be nice.
• Riverclan cats to help further drive his loyalty for his clan.

A very minor amount of information on Starkpelt is found on Eldersky's website. She doesn't have a character site, nor set looks (born into the life of a background character, used in life-giving lol.) I'm thinking just white with green/yellow eyes. She's very caring, always with a rather soothing presence about her, but blunt and matter-of-fact when it comes to life. She has an oddly keen intuition, having predicted her death after giving birth based on a "bad feeling" but still going into it strong-willed.

Why would they be good for this plot?
Starkpelt would make for the perfect "motherly" StarClan figure. She can't help but to exude this warm, positive, nearly-choking sense of love and comfort, like one might get when they confess a misdeed to their mom, who proceeds to hug and soothe them rather than get loud and upset. She loves her children, her kit who stayed with her for many moons in StarClan recently returning to live with his living sister. She has walked StarClan for about 17 moons now, and has watched over every Clan equally, though her interest in RiverClan piqued when her daughter befriended its deputy-turned-leader. She would notice what is happening with Snakepaw and decide that there is no better moment to reach out to the struggling child than now, and she'll do so firmly, but also gently.

Why would they be good for this plot?
Snailriver himself died in Riverclan raid on Shadowclan, and has always been extremely loyal to Riverclan and will likely fit into this character who encourages straight loyalty to Riverclan. He has a temper and can often appear aloof but also has a more fiery side that was used to bother other cats. Due to a previous incident he'll be absolutely paranoid that Snakepaw one way or another learn to deal with snake bites and can rescue cats from that [due to being bit before and throwing a massive hissy fit when he was still alive] Despite all of this he would try his best to support Snake, but would be serious offended whenever Snake talks like they're not real and will probably end up just getting into arguments with Snake -> about that, hey they do exist. Would probably be the main cause of a massive headache for Snake.

Personality/looks/character site:
Raven was meant to be a background character until I got around to developing her, but I've never had the chance to really use her. After all, dead cats aren't in very high demand. She's fully black-furred with a small tuft of white on her chest, and with teal/amber eyes (from heterochromia, not unnaturally so). A bit of information on her might be on Talonstone/Lionpaw's sites, though they're both outdated and somewhat inaccurate regarding the past. Raven died at twelve moons from a climbing accident. She's a fiery feline who would undoubtedly be on the forensics debate team if she were human. Although she's skilled in twisting words to her advantage, Raven is also willing to play as the peacekeeper if no one else steps up. She's somewhat on the reserved side until someone pokes her in the flank. Direct, bold... mischievous, flexible, and motherly, almost, especially around kits. She uses her black pelt and mixed eyes as tools to flirt and fluster others.

Why would they be good for this plot?
Ravenpaw has never been involved with the living world before. "I'm only here to watch over my friends. Not to be with my ancestors," she would say if anyone asked for her purpose in death. I think she would be confused because... out of all the cats in the world, why pick her for the job? She'd think that she did something wrong when none of them appeared, but also be the one to try the hardest in convincing Snake that they exist. Raven could fit the requirement of sassy, and she could also try being a friend to Snakepaw? Someone closer to his age.

Right well I think this is enough people and I honestly dont see any issues with any of the cats! Theyre all perfect! First group rp will be after Snakepaw gets home from the starcave (Ill make a thread for that one) but feel free to have your cats meet and chatter while he's failing to get his dreams. You'll all be appearing to him pretty regularly in groups or one on one and when we get a little more development eventually we can talk about what his major hallelujah moment can be!
