Death was hunting for food. Her long claws itched to rip through fur. Yes... a plump rabbit sounded delicious right about now. She prepared to leap, but a sharp wave of pain rippled through her body. She let out a snarl of both agony and frustration. Death rolled onto her side, gasping for breath. The kits?! The kits were coming!
"Great timing." She muttered, but she wasn't mad at the kits. Mad at herself, more or less.

Shred heard a snarl. He ran that way and stopped. The large tom looked at the she-cat.

Death saw him standing there. Like an awe-struck kit. "Don't just stand there!" She snapped, the pain making her more irritable, if possible, than usual. Her eyes were full of fear, an expression that she hadn't worn in a long time.

He walked away to find stick. he picked it up and dropped in front of her. "Bite." he snapped, mimicking her. Then Shred was looking for raspberry leafs.

"Haha. Funny." he cooly said, rolling his eyes. He ran over to the raspberry bush and picked the leafs and ran back. "Eat these." The tom mewed smoothly and with a hint of chilling.

"Thanks." She said sincerely, wanting him to know that she appreciated him helping. She licked the leafs up and stifled a gag. Gross. Those leaves tasted disgusting. But if they would help her... fine.

Leaf walked over. She heard a tom growling a female that smelled as if she was about to give birth so she ran over. Her assumption was right. But it seemd the tom was helping, despite his tone. Leaf stepped forward anyway, and went over to the shecat. "I'm Leaf." She mewed sfotly. "You're doing great, do as the tom says, though I'm not sure how he knows.." leaf mewed calmly. She still had her kits back at her den, though they were 3 moons now.

Death nodded. She knew that the kits were early. (I was one week short of a month with her pregnancy 0.0 so most of the kits will die )
The first kit began to come and she pushed as hard as she could. (Tryin to keep this PG)
