Fur ruffled and eyes blazing, Thorn'Claw stormed towards the apprentice den with a wad a dripping moss between his jaws. Poison'paw had over slept and he wasn't happy. Shoving his broad shoulders thru the entrance of the den the hefty tom glared down at a sleeping form. Although it was only half past noon, the apprentice still had slept past the time limit. With out hesitation Thorn'Claw squeezed the moss making a small cascade of water pour down on to Poision'paws head. " Wake up! " he hissed, giving a sharp kick towards the slumbering cat.

poisonpaw jumped up after being kick. His head was dripping wet as he shook out his coat and growled a bit, "Tha heck Thornclaw?! it's not even that late!" he was mad. He was just trying to catch some z's and Thornclaw had to pour water all over him.

Giving a glare Thorn'Claw flung the rest of the soaked moss at Poison'paws head. "Does it look like I care?" he growled with a brooding expression. " And besides, it's half past noon. No one should ever sleep that late. " He stated, completely ignoring the fact that the apprentice was up all night training, " now you better hurry, or all the prey will die of old age by the time we get there. " he muttered gruffly and shoved bac out of the den .

Poisonpaw growled to himself and followed his mentor, not even trying to wash himself of the water or dust and grim from yesterday's training. "Fine then You could have woken me up normally." he hissed trailing after Thornclaw.

Thorn'claw scoffed quietly at the comment and continued stalking towards the camp entrance. Brushing under the gorse tunnel he angled a tufted ear towards Poison'paw who was moseying along behind him. At this pace they wouldn't make it back til moon rise. As soon as they exited the tunnel Thorn'claw rocketed forward with remarkable speed. Without giving a second glance back he hoped his apprentice would catch up.

Poisonpaw growled and rolled his eyes but shot forward like a bullet. All that running from bullies came in handy right about now. He felt his eyes opening up once more, taking in his surroundings. He loved the feeling of the wind in his fur. He was enjoying himself until he looked forward and saw how far ahead Thornclaw was. He growled in frustration and willed himself to run faster, watching as everything around him became a blur.

Eyes narrowed he dug his hind paws into the ground and let his front paws swivled to the left. Thorn'claw came to an abrupt halt and looked in the direction of poison'paw who was closing in rapidly. If the apprentice didn't stop in enough time he would fly off a rocky ledge and into some brambles, multiple tail lengths below. But of course Thorn'claw didn't care to warn the young tom, and instead sat back on his haunches and waited for the out come.

Poisonpaw chased after Thornclaw, using his anger to fuel him to pick up the pace. His anger did not stop him however and he ended up off the cliff into the brambles. He struggled and strained against the sharp prodding objects. "You good for nothing thorn in my behind! Why didn't you say something?!" he growled up at Thornclaw as he tried to wriggle his way out of the mess he was in.

Poisonpaw growled and wriggled his way out of the thorns. He went to stand in front of Thornclaw with gritted teeth. "What next, you gonna launch me off a cliff and tell me to claw my way back up with a broken leg?" he asked sarcastically.
