Jill exchanged the eye roll. Challenge flared in her yellow orbs. "I bet I'm going to get one of those fancy other-worldly offices before you do, brother," The immortal bragged, raising her chin. "I always was father's favourite." This wasn't, per se, the entire truth, but she was hungry for triumph.

Mabel scrunched up her face in frustration. "You shouldn't be the only ones allowed to have magic offices! I-" She was silenced by Jill's death glare. Pouting, she stuck an arm into the demon's portal. Frigid air greeted the limb, and she jolted backwards in surprise. "Wow! That portal must go all the way to Antarctica or something! Adventure awaits!"

Jill mumbled incoherently, then increased her volume by a degree to get her point across. "If Antarctica is in the mindscape, then sure."

Mabel poked her tongue out at Nill's counterpart and followed the pair, albeit warily, through the portal.

Jill snorted half-heartedly, and found herself tempted to stick out a foot and trip up dear Mabel as she walked in. But something told her that her brother wouldn't be terribly fond of that. Better not to.
Closing the portal as the group walked through, she greeted the appearance of the mindscape with a wide grin.
"Home sweet home, eh, Nill?"

Jill felt a wide grin creep its way across her face. Her brother, ever the optimist.
"Oh, come on, Nill! This will all be fine. We just need to remove our mother from her room, sacrifice her as tribute, and make sure father doesn't know. Simple."

Mabel spun around in slow circles, taking in the massive expanse of the dreamscape. She let out a small gasp, allowing herself to become lost in the blizzard of the void for a moment.
"Echo!" She tried, straining her ears to see if the endless white bounced her voice back at her. There was no reaction.
Lulled back into the conversation, she gaped at Dipper. "What?! Bro-bro, you can't turn down an adventure like that! Conflicts are how heroes find their calling." She explained matter-of-factly.
