Glow snatched the mouse from the grey tom. And it was very easy. The tom turned to face Glow, his lips curled into a snarl. His tiny collar ruined the “scary” affect though, if that is what he was trying to do. “Give my mouse back!” The tom snarled. “Oh, this one? Well, welcome to the Outskirts, you better watch your back, because this will happen many more times.” Glow said to him, dangling the mouse in two of her claws. The grey tom leaped at her, but she moved out of the way and managed to scrape his side as he descended. The tom howled in pain, and rolled onto his back, exposing his big belly. Rookie mistake. Glow thought, jumping onto him. The tom tried to throw Glow off, but Glow just pushed him down again. “Give up?” Glow asked the tom, wrinkling her nose from all the fear scent coming from him. “You don’t need the food anyway, kittypet. Go run back to your twoleg.” She let the kittypet up, and hissed at him as he ran away. Then she sat down, and began to eat.

Harmony crouched in a bush. She had watched the brown tabby fight the kittypet. She could be a valuable ally. Harmony padded out of the shelter of the bush holding her head high. “Nice catch.”

Glow whirled around to face the new she-cat. “Well, you won’t get it.” She growled at the new cat. “Wait...you were spying on me!” Glow took a step closer to the cat, she was around the same size as the she-cat, but she was much more puffy, making her look bigger. The she-cat only flicked her ear at her. “Just...what do you want?”

Harmony laughed quietly “so quick to fight.” She shook her head “you know there are some cats who only want to talk, right?”

Glow stooped in her tracks. She was right, but with her experiences, that was usually not the case. “Answer the question, what are you doing here?” Her mother was wrong, she was not a wimpy kit, she was brave, her siblings were wrong to. That’s why she left them, if they don’t want here, well, they are missing out on a chance.

Cinnamon padded through the forest at a rather relaxed pace, the wafting scents of prey flooding her nose. The morning breeze ran through her pelt, ruffling it, as well as doing the same for the yellow bandana that adorned her neck. The accessory had a few small holes and rips in it, but it was still ok to wear. The smells it gave off were mostly woodsy, but if you sniffed hard enough, you could get a reminder of her old housefolk. Cinnamon would have gone back to her old home if she could, but it was too far away. Besides, the shelter would have probably been destroyed and her housefolk dead. She decided she wouldn’t like to see that. Cinnamon’s ears suddenly twitched as she picked up a noise. It seemed to be a conversation between two she-cats. The marbled she-cat turned, then parted through a few ferns, keeping out of sight. She didn’t want the she-cats to think she was snooping around, even though she in fact, was. The two that stood in the grassy clearing was one with a dark ginger pelt and some lighter accents, and another was a light brown bengal. Cinnamon angled her ears towards the both of them in an attempt to listen in. The first she-cat was getting angry about who knows what, and the other was being casual about it. The loner stepped out of the ferns she had been hiding in cautiously, staring at the two who had been talking.
“I take it this is supposed to be hostile?” She mewed, looking back and forth at the two she-cats.
Before they could answer, she spoke again. “Eh, doesn’t matter. I’m Cinnamon. You?”
She licked a rough, black pad that had been aching ever since she had been walking this morning. A few strokes of her tongue quickly soothed the pain, and Cinnamon awaited an answer from the she-cats.

”Well, to answer both of your questions I’m Harmony.”She said. Harmony was used to new cats ”let’s take this somewhere sheltered”Harmony looked around them they were close to Twoleg territory to close. one of the twoleg houses stood out to her, it was a light tan with a brown roof. She never wanted to go back there ever. She calmly pointed her tail to a large bush which she had been sleeping in for the past few sunrises.

Glow stared at Cinnamon. “Listen, I get that I look like a cat that will just charge in, but O have to protect myself. Not like you would understand what I’ve gone through.” She picked up the smell of two-leg coming from Cinnamon. She looked down at her own bandanna. A two-leg had put it on her when she was eating. Well, a two-leg kit did. I guess that kit got pretty excited.

”oh so your the only one that’s been hurt! Think again!” Harmony rounded on the brown tabby. Suddenly angry. “You think your the only one here that has a past! Do you know what it’s like to lose all your family, to one, one twoleg.” her mew broke at the end but fury still burned in her eyes. She sat up suddenly aware of the two other cats staring at her “s-sorry.”
