Swift as the Coursing River [Sparring Event]

Lizardfrost desperately needed work right now. She needed to prove herself as a good shield and felt that she hadn’t been doing it so far. There was just always more she could do and she always tried to do it, even if that meant collapsing form exhaustion. So recently she’d asked permission from Kestrelstar to hold a training event for the RiverClan warriors and apprentices and he had allowed her to. Now, Lizardfrost had absolutely no social skills so that could be a problem but she assumed that if she kept it entirely professional she’d be fine. She wasn’t used to being in charge of others’ actions but, of course, she took the time to make a detailed plan and a set of rules.
Now that it was all set, she just needed to gather everyone on the Training Island and commence. That required communication, unfortunately. Lizardfrost hoped no one would ask questions.
“Warriors and apprentices of RiverClan! Kestrelstar has given me permission to authorize a sparring event at the Training Island. Those who wish to participate please join me there. Requirement is simply your rank and that you are not forbidden from leaving camp at the current time for whatever reason.” She announced. It wasn’t too bad, was it? She didn’t speak often.

[This is just a simple sparring event, those who reply will be paired up for spars]

Amberpaw ran over. She'd take any real training or anything she could by this point. Her warrior assignment would have to happen soon. And she might pass, but the way things seemed to her, she'd probably fail if she didn't get any actual training in anything but swimming soon.

Pebblepaw trotted the Training island, where she had heard the voice. She looked up at Lizardfrost, excited. She was only eight moons and wouldn’t become a warrior any time soon, but she liked to train. “Um, what is a sparing event?” Pebblepaw mewed nervously.

Vinewatcher padded towards Lizardfrost a bit confused as she padded over and sat down. if I don't want to do it I can always watch the silver she-cat though with a shrug.

Dawnpaw and Ivypaw walked over. This seemed exciting. Dawnpaw smiled, a bounce in her steps. Ivypaw was more calm then Dawnpaw, but she also had a bounce in her step for whatever reason.

The silver tom padded over to Lizardfrost. I sparring event? Well I can always use some practice. He wasn’t a very good fight maybe he could learn something new. As long as he didn’t mess up horribly. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. But I’m already here! What would Lizardfrost think if I left! He lashed his tail nervously. He looked around. There didn’t seem to be a very big crowd. At least not yet. He hoped that it would stay that way.

The spotted apprentice stretched as he heard Lizardfrost's call. The chill had effectively crept into his bones with his inactivity and moving felt stiff and awkward. Training island, Codpaw cocked his head; with his assessment looming he could use the extra practice, fighting was probably his weakest skill, but the lure of leaving the camp was also a strong factor, regardless of the reason. He didn't believe he'd ever been locked up in camp for so long, possibly even as a kit. Codpaw wiggled his body trying to shed the frostiness as he padded towards Lizardfrost, ready to follow her to the Training Island.

Reedlight walked over, hearing his former mentor's call. A sparring event? Sounded interesting! He could get some practice in, and get used to these events again!
