her eyes closing, the kid cried, her tears an inky black. she screamed, her eyes opening as she fell back against the wall. something was wrong. and she was scared. dad wasn't there, and neither was uncle cesar.

Eclipse had been minding their own business, helping their dad around the daycare when they heard a scream. Instantly dropping what they were doing, Eclipse ran to Lilith's side. "Lilith, are you alright? What's going on?" They asked soothingly, trying o calm her down.

her eyes were closed. "i- i cant- i-" she now couldnt speak, and her head hurt. her heart beat faster than ever, and she was dizzy."i-" she was now barely able to speak. "i dont know-" she cried, burying her face in her hands, fear in her face.

Eclipse felt bad for the girl, they couldn't imagine having to deal with schizophrenia this intense. Lilith was certainly brave to be going through all of this, even if she had no choice. They bent down to hug Lilith. "Hey, hey… It's okay, you'll be okay, I promise." Eclipse said soothingly. "Can you tell me what's wrong?"

"i- you say i have visions. my real parents did too. but they died a couple ights ago, im sure you know, but someone adopted me later that night. and he says he sees them too. so does my uncle. and- they've... they've hurt me before-" she said, showing the huge black cut on her arm.

Eclipse widened their eyes at the huge cut. So this wasn't just schizophrenia, something was actually hurting her. They could feel anger bubble up as they stared at the cut. Eclipse didn't care what the shadow was, how dare it hurt a child?? Their gaze darkened slightly and they onspected the cut. "I should take you to get tha bandaged up." They say calmly.

she nodded, sighing before looking into a corner. "LEAVE ME ALONE 6 IM NOT IN THE MOOD!!" she hissed, looking at the man-like alternative in the corner, her eyes sharpened. "I CANT HAVE MY WEAPONS HERE, OK I CANT ATTACK YOU-"

Eclipse looked into the corner, a small shock of fear runnin down their spine. Would whatever it was be able to hurt them too? As it was, they could see a very vague outline of the shadow figure. Eclipse grabbed Lilith's hand and pulled her behind them, drawing themself up to reach their full height. "Leave her alone, coward." Eclipse said, staring at it. Their voice was calm, but there was a disguised tone of such venom that it seemed to drip from their mouth and twist itself so tightly into the words that you could see it. Abruptly turning around, they went to lead Lilith to the first aid station.

she sighed and followed her, glancing back, before keeping her eyes forward. "you- you promise not to tell anyone about this, right?" she asked, sighing as she brushed some of her hair back.
