Hello! I’ve decided to create a new character for a new soap opera plot I’ve come up with! If you couldn’t tell based on the title, this will be primarily romance-based.

I’ve been thinking lately about creating a character who succeeds at having children in each of the Clans. Obviously, to do this, they’d need a mate in each Clan. I decided to do this with a tom, since I feel it’s easier than with a molly.

These relationships will not be poly. It’s more dramatic if they’re not, in my opinion

The ultimate goal for this big plot is for my cat to end up with children in every Clan. Whether or not he ends up being involved in his children’s lives will be something that’s decided down the road. The intent is for my cat to love every one of his mates, although he will probably end up choosing just one in the end. Unless we decide to make it super angsty.

I don’t have the cat for this fully fleshed out yet because he’s brand new, but I’ve got a basic idea for him:

Skyshadow: A handsome, charismatic black tom with sharp yellow eyes, like an owl’s. He is 24 moons old, and in ThunderClan. He is obsessed with the idea of legacy, with his greatest fear being that his influence on the Clans will be lost with time. He’s a big believer in tradition, and has a strong belief in StarClan. Despite this, he also believes in forging one’s own path and creating your own legacy. He’s a good listener, although he’s not the best at giving advice. He’s also pretty bad at making decisions.

I do want the relationships he has with each molly to develop relatively naturally over some time, not be instantaneous or anything.

Fogshadow's tail brushed the leaf laden ground as they trudged along. The gathering would be one of their first as a warrior and it put a little skip in their step to think about it. The red and yellow leaves around them heavily contrasted their dark fur and eyes, and the light autumn wind messed up their fur ever so slightly. They could remember that day so well, they'd aced their warriors assessment. Their mom had been so proud of them and Fogshadow(or Fogpaw then) glowed with pride as the leader gave them their new name, Fogshadow. Bounding now, Fogshadow noticed eyes turn to them and coughed subconsciously, slowing down the pace. Still, they couldn't wait.
