MENTOR WANTED!! For a GIANT Former Rogue Apprentice!
Howdy all!
I'm looking to join ThunderClan, but first my poor little she-cat Badger (soon Badgerpaw) needs to find a mentor
She is about 12 moons old around the time she becomes an apprentice & nearly twice the size of the average warrior.
Badger has been hiding out around Highstones for the past moon or two trying to recover from her near-fatal injuries given to her when she was attacked by a ShadowClan patrol. Badger had been trying to lay low in a tunnel underneath the Thunderpath connecting ShadowClan's territory to Twolegplace & simply failed at laying low enough. Presently, Badger isn't feeling the best but all real danger related to her injuries has dissolved. She tries her best to avoid any forest cats on their journeys to Mothermouth, but she knows they've noticed her too.
I have a few ideas of how Badger would get from Highstones to joining ThunderClan, but I'm sure that will come to life on its own.
Badger has been through a lot in her short life & would feel incredibly loyal to a fair group of cats who notices her willingness to learn & doesn't want to take advantage of her size or use it to their advantage. She'd simply feel lucky to have a place to devote herself to at this point. She's always wanted to be good, but she's always gotten mixed up with the wrong cats.
Important Notes:
Badger is partially blind/has poor eyesight, so I'd love for her mentor to lean into her hearing & scenting capabilities as much as possible. It doesn't affect her ability to fight much, but it DOES affect the way that she catches her prey -- another reason why Twolegplace was easy to go back to -- you don't have to catch Twoleg waste!
Because of her size (a result of kittypet breeding somewhere in her bloodline), Badger also deals with early onset joint pain. It doesn't really affect her much now -- she has pain but wouldn't dare complain -- but finds herself visiting the medicine cat's den for a goldenrod poultice after intense days of training.
