hello and welcome to the most angstiest plot finder i have ever created. this finder is looking for an old friend of cobwebfern's that she thought was dead, but wasn't actually.

if you don't already know, cobwebfern grew up as a kittypet in an abusive family with a dad who really sucked. while she was a kit, someone visited cobwebfern- an outsider who came from the clans but left. this cat was named feather. this cat visited cobweb when her father wasn't around, and promised to help cobweb escape her family and get to a clan where she would be semi-safer and away from her father. on the night that feather had promised to take her to her new life, cobweb stepped out of her nest and found the dead body of feather, with her father standing on top of her, claws bloody. cobweb fled with her father in chase and made it to riverclan, where a few cats protected her. cobwebfern carries the guilt of feather's death with her constantly, and doesn't have a night where she doesn't dream about her friend's dead body.

however..? feather wasn't dead. when cobwebfern's father gave chase to cobweb, feather managed to get to a safer place and slowly healed. feather, now older, scarred, and present day, has been thinking about cobwebfern near constantly, and wants to find her old friend. this is where you, dear reader, come in. you will be playing feather. here's how the plot is going to go.

[ feather ] will somehow make her way to a river where cobwebfern, [ clanmate 1 ], and [ clanmate 2 ] on a fishing patrol. cobwebfern won't immediately recognize [ feather ], but will upon prompt and explanation that she didn't die. cobwebfern will talk to [ clanmate 1 and 2 ], quickly explain her past, and ask [ feather ] if she wants to return to riverclan with her. [ feather ] refuses and tells cobwebfern that she would never return to a clan ever. cobwebfern begs, but [ feather ] is adamant. cobwebfern makes her promise to meet again tonight, and [ feather ] agrees. the three riverclanners leave and cobwebfern and [ feather ] meet again that night. cobwebfern and [ feather ] talk for a little while, before [ feather ] is snatched by a badger and killed. cobwebfern screams and runs away, sobbing, and returns to the clan that night traumatized and heartbroken, reliving her best friend's death over and over and over again.

i would like to take feather! i dislike that you're traumatizing her like this /silly but want to help

and if you're up for it, in the future feather can visit cob's dreams? and shellkit/paw can snuggle with cobweb to make her feel better
