My new writing project
Hi everyone! I'm currently in the middle of writing this kinda not-great-yet fanfic... but I'll post it anyway cause you might like it? Please note I am in the MIDDLE of this, if you have any ideas, please tell me! I'm also accepting feedback.
Warning: hoo boy, this might be one of the most violent fanfics I've made.. fratricide, mass extinction, a divided clan... well:
Fire in the Sky
By Foxy
“When the rain begins to fall, fire rains from the sky. Sister against brother, the truth will be revealed…” - Dynasty, Arc IV: Leadership
He was gone.
Glory stepped back and stared at Sacrifice’s body. It was for the best, she told herself. He was evil.
But she couldn’t stop thinking about before… when he was Honor. When he was good, or still seemed to be.
As MajestyClan cats stared at her with wonder and began cheering her name, she leaped on top of the Greatrock. “MajestyClan!” she bellowed. Everyone sat and turned to look at her. “Sacrifice is gone,” she continued, “and I will be your new leader. As Sacrifice’s deputy is currently imprisoned in BirdClan awaiting trial, he will be demoted. Leaving me to take over.”
She cleared her throat. “I will make my way to the Crystalline tomorrow to be appointed as leader by the Place of Bountiless Hunting and granted my nine lives. Until then, celebrate! But just remember, Sacrifice will be watching…”
Arc I: Kithood
When Goldenkit and her brother, Shellkit, were born, no one thought they would survive. It was the middle of leaf-bare. Their mother, Curious, shivered in her nest as she pulled them both closer to her. A whitecough epidemic had taken hold of MajestyClan. Four cats had already died of infected wounds, and eight were quarantined in fear the disease would spread. The only two kits in the camp, especially vulnerable due to their undeveloped organs, were not considered strong enough to survive.
When the frost was starting to melt, the Clan was holding a mass vigil. The ground had thawed, and they could finally bury their deceased friends and family.
But all of the kits were alive.
