▁▂▃▅▆▇ The Tom sits in the middle of camp, sitting next to the rather shallow river side, the one kits learned to swim, he can remember teaching raccoonpaw- no no- it was raccoonweb now and beachheart felt a wave of pride and happiness, if he could help that one cat maybe he could help these kits. "may all kits join me by the camps river side!" he meowed out loudly "I have a game for you all! its called cats and minnows!" he purrs, knowing the kits will get used to the shallow water. maybe this would work for them. ▇▆▅▃▂▁
The game is similer to sharks and minnows, but since there's no sharks in maine, the game is called cats and minnows. the way the game is played is I as the host of the event will spin a wheel to see who's the Shark/cat, the rest are minnows, everyone will have their cats line up by the edge of the shallow water and they will run/swim across it to the other side, I will then roll a dice, anything 1-5 has been caught and anything 6-10 is safe! I hope everyone enjoys it! I have @ every person who owns a kit and I will give this post until the 12th before I start start the event! I hope you all have fun!
Floodkit waddles over with the other kits, "A-are we gonna eat minnows? Do they taste like moss? Can we catch them ourselve?
Floodkit quickly asks while circling the tom, eyes wide.

The white kit had been resting in the nursery after a morning of trying to get Asterfly to teach him hunting moves. When he was an apprentice his mentor would surely teach him, but it wasn't like he needed to save everything for when he was six - why not start early. But alas his mother hadn't seemed keen on waking up early for that.
But Snowkit seemed to be partially in luck tho, because something was happening outside. Cats and minnows? Not a game he had personally played before but he had heard about it! He clambered out of the tangle of his mother's fur and stretched before jogging outside, tail high, heading straight for where Beachheart sat.
"Hello, can I participate even if I haven't been showed how to swim yet?" He inquired as he waited for everyone to gether, but he remained standing. See, mom, kits need to be taught things even before they're 'paws.
Acornkit was pushed out of the nursery by a queen, urged to play with the other kits. She hid trying to turn back, but was spotted and beckoned into the crowd. She crouched, hating being with the crowd of cats, and geez, the noise! She felt so overwhelmed..

"we're playing a game, its called cats and minnows" he meowed to streamkit before turning to dappledkit "its for all kits so feel free to come on over" the Tom then chuckled at floodkit's response "we could, but we'll play our game first." he sits up as he pads over by the shallow water "the water is shallow, so its not deep but for any smaller kits, you'll have it up to you neck which is no problem, the game we're playing will allow you to semi-swim, meaning you'd be able to run but if you imatate swimming, you'll get better at it!" he purrs, mostly explaining it to snowkit so the young Tom wouldn't be deterred from playing the game. "I'll be supervising the game because I'm a bit big and the same wouldn't be fair if I played!" he sits by the edge of the water and dips his paw in, it only went up to his wrist. "see, not that deep. I'm guessing we could call this a kittypool" he Murrow's in laughter. «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁
