one day you're going to die .
one day you're going to die
today you're going to die. that's what ran on repeat throughout daisy's mind as she crashed through the forest. anyone looking on would see nothing but a wobbly, dizzy grey blur of gangly legs and straight-up-stuck tail. the words of wynn echoed through her mind as she went, begging her to stay, to give him one more chance, but she couldn't.
couldn't stay, couldn't go, couldn't breathe- daisy's breathing hitched as she tumbled to the side, losing her balance and cracking her head painfully into a tree. black dotted the edges of her vision, but the small kit's primal safety instincts took over when she heard crushing leaves behind her.
eyes wide, she whirled around and saw.. no. her father, rage painting his face into an ugly mask. ' daisy, if you don't get your ass back here i will drag you back home myself and you do not want that. ' his voice, roaring with hate, was somehow cold and careless at the same time. why did he hate her so much?
' i don't want to go back- ' daisy hiccuped, trying to scramble away from the larger tom, but doing it unsuccessfully. she screamed as he hooked her with a claw, picking her up then slamming her back into the tree. ' please- stop.. ' she meowed pitifully, wiggling out of his grasp. oh god- she smelled other cats.
