Kingdom of Mycenae ( sign ups semi literate and limited )

mankind and gods living side by side , possessing magic given from the gods themselves , brothers of light and dark standing side by side balancing the nature of our world , all was peaceful ....until the God of darkness decided to create something so vile and uncontrollable that the God of light had to put an end to and couldn't bear to watch be born ,the God of light had asked his brother to stop but the God of darkness ignored the please and warnings from the older , he created the minotaur , but it didn't stop there he made Cerberus , the Cyclops , and with a bit of ' love ' put into his creations he made his final master piece , he created the forbidden , monsters that were nothing but endless voids of darkness and ink like substance , human shaped with elk horns and limbs that creaked and snapped when ever they walked or moved , able to bend in all odd ways , voices that sounded out of breath or were struggling to catch breath , a shriek that sounded like nails scratching on the chalk board , faces were drug down and dripping off the chin with mouths open wide and beedy eyes of red .

The God of light was horrified by what his brother had done , creating all these monsters that would harm the thing that both of them have created , mankind , so to protect his children like any parent would he started to try and be peaceful with his brother one last time to make him stop but he didn't , which turned into a war between them. They fought and fought but both seemed to be evenly matched since they lived with each other and knew each other's attack , but the God of darkness didn't know all of his brothers tricks , the God of light fled to an ancient city where he hid an a vase that was able to capture his brother if things were to ever get out of hand .he brought the vase back with him and called his brother for an meeting , reluctantly the God of darkness did , once the two were standing face to face the older brother tricked the younger and opened the vase which sucked the God of darkness into it and put the lid back on with a seal of his own words . He put this vase back in the ancient city once more but buried it deep deep underground where no human would be able to find it ,and from then on the only known god was the God of light himself , but the monsters his brother created were still there ,and far too many for him to defeat . But he was ashamed by what his brother had done and what he had to do to defeat him , so he vanished from the world by sealing himself in an separate vase in an different city , though he has left instructions for those who find him to be brought back and for humanity to be judged once more and the battle of light and dark and all of the creations shall begin .

Current time ,kingdom mycenae year 3038 .
Monsters ,everywhere , the king has been on the brink of bringing our great home to destruction from cutting off certain trade routes , raising the prices of goods at an absurd rate meaning loss of money , loss of life from wars from other countries ,gangs of rogues and thieves have popped up , everything's a mess... Although there is hope , as in the king has made an alliance with the queen of knossos and married her , and an old tale that I have read... We can bring back the God of light! He will help us straighten things out . We can't loose hope , the world , mankind needs help , please join our merry band and let's find that vase! If you find this note , think of it as an honor , to be along side men who want to bring peace . Think of yourself as one of the lucky few . No the king doesn't know about us and we like to keep it that way or else he will most likely have our heads . Please join us , we need all the recruits we can get , many thanks from yours truly ❇
