ok. I don't see my boy getting enough attention so this is a discussion on Sol. Even though I don't like him in some ways I love him! I know weird right? I love how he's so....persuasive , he even got Hollyleaf to believe him a bit and she's obsessed over the warrior code . I couldn't help but notice that his design got changed in Sunrise and long shadows probably because they figured out that a orange black and white tom cat wasn't genetically realistic ? If I remember correctly. Or they just forgot how he originally looked. I mean....two design changes in two books....yeesh. I love the original design choice . Now the things that I don't like about him is , that he strikes me as Hyocritical . He tells the cats these things but he doesn't do em, like cats should hunt for them selves and he lays around and asks them to get him some food. He teaches Jingos group now to fight the dogs and waits till their practically starving it looks like and he says they're ready , they do as told and he disappears off to the old twoleg shelter and tells them that they shouldn't blame him for losing and he insists that they started the fight first . He even tells Purdy to hunt him some food! Now that makes me angry. That's what I don't like about him. You preach these things , then you do nothing!! ( Yes I just read and still is reading sunrise today ) I honestly think he shouldn't have been accused of murdering ashfur even though I know it's nice to have a scape goat and Blame him just because he's an outsider but that's what people do! I also will give props to the Erin group because they're mirroring some human actions with the cats .
What are y'all a opinions on Sol? Do you think he will come back?

Well he didn't die I think. So it's possible . I even watched a bright guardian akira video and kinda agree. But why though? And he no beast that's tigrestar and brokenstar.

He is my child. So is Mapleshade. As is Tigerstar,and Hawkfrost. I love all of them except for Skystar (aka Clear Sky) and Fire(no spoilers for people who read this and having read the entirety of the first series). There are more babs I don’t like/need more development.

yeah, i'm p sure he didn't die-

i dont really have an opinion on him, tbh. i mean, a white, black, and orange cat can be realistic with a calico design, but anyways. it does feel awkward that they changed him over the course of two books. like, if there were a few books in between, sure. maybe age caught up with the guy. but one book he's this way and the next he's p different. it doesn't really make sense to me but whatever.
i agree w/ you on the persuasive part, i love that about him i think he's p evened out, but i just don't like how everyone gives him so much attention. i do realize he's a big part of the series he's included in, but still, there's endless talk about sol, trying to figure out what to do with him, etc. and if you were a cat in the clans at the time, you literally couldn't go a heartbeat without hearing the name 'sol'. yeah, he's important, but still. he's a freaking cat. you don't see people making such a big deal of forbidden loves, and those are against the warrior code; being a cat isn't.
he was a pretty good boyo when he warned them bout the eclipse, tho. good job, sol.
they drive out sol, ashfur dies, sol gets blamed and kept hostage in tc, the three save him, etc. so much fuss about the dude. jeez. ive got nothing against him, but ;-;

I agree with you on the attention part in the books. It was getting a bit much. But weren't females calico and not the toms? I'm not trying to be someone who's like ' hey that's not genetically right !' Or something but I'm just curious . Ooh May be he will come back when Squirrelflight would be leader!! :3 because isn't she deputy when bramblestar is leader?

yeah, she is deputy, since bramblestar appointed her deputy :>
i'm not trying to be that type of person either, but- males are capable of having calico patterns. i did some research and although only 1 out of 3,000 calico cats are male, they do exist.
