Churchill's little piece of territory (Ask to join)

Deep into the forest, on a small, yet nice territory lived Churchill, a black pelted tom. Not always being the kindest to others gave him a pretty bad reputation along with being a rogue, which didn't add up too well.

The tom slowly paced through his territory, it had been a while since he had seen someone he knew come by, unlike to other cats, there were some that he showed his gentle and caring side, but being out in the forest like this also had its ups and downs, he never knew who would show up here and never knew if they were good or bad, therefore, everyone, except some, were a threat to him. Churchill's size was also pretty intimidating, he was tall and muscular. Which could come in handy if he had to scare others away, even if it was also his weakness, being tall sure didn't always come in handy, but he tried to make the best use out of it. The tom was currently lost in thoughts as he walked through the territory, his yellow hues aimed up at the sky.

Selena walked aimlessly through the forest, her heaet ached and she felt hallow. Though a burning rage tried to push that away as she recalled who had done this to her. Tail slightly dragging the ground the black and ginger molly pushed on, she didn't know we're she was going she just let her paws guide her. This was all Spirit's fault! He'd won his way into her heart then dumped her once he was done with her. For what? Another molly to break her heart? It was so messed up! Pinning her ears Selena pressed on she wanted away from her former mate, far far away somewhere she could forget about him. Somewhere peaceful. Picking up her pace the rogue almost broke into a run. Not watching where she was going the young feline ran right into a larger dark hues feline. Prepared to fight Selena jerked her head up only to realize she knew this tom. "Churchill?" A surprised meow escaped. This was on of her brothers friends, they'd shared a few words but this molly never expected this was were her paws would lead her.

Churchill had been pacing around his territory until he finally managed to take in a scent, though, he knew this one, so he headed in its direction and soon enough both collided, he looked at her and his eyes widened. "Selena..?" He asked and gave her a surprised look. "Are you alright?" The rogue questionned as he nuzzled the top of her head, she sure didn't look okay. "Did something happen with him..?" He asked worriedly as he looked around, there was nonone else around, at least that, he had never gotten many news from the she-cat since she had left for that cursed tom, and now, here she was, on his territory, by his side, almost if fate wanted the two of them to meet again, he pressed his nose to hers, he could almost feel the anger coming off of her and it was something he didn't like in the slightest, he had known her for being a kind and loving she-cat, and for her to be like this didn't make him happy at all, to be honest, seeing her likenthis made his blood boil, she didn't deserve to be treated like that. "If you wish to stay for a little bit, feel free to do so, you'll always be welcomed here." He murmured and gave the top of her head another lick. The two of them had not talked much, but her brother had given her plenty of information about everyone in the family, and since he had seen her a bunch before she had left and he had always had an eye on her.

Selena was comforted by the nuzzling she received, Churchill was such a sweet cat. At least to her and her siblings. She knew he didn't treat everyone stranger like he treated her but at not everyone deserved to be treated sweetly. At his second question she flattened her ears, yeah he was dead on. It was about him, that tom just ugh he'd lied to her. Why couldn't she tell he wasn't a good one? "Yeah..." With a nod she almost whispered. It wasn't something she wanted to talk about. I'm all honesty she thought it was partly her fault, not that he left her but that she'd allowed him to get close enough to hurt her this much. Thoughts whirling in her head Selena took in Churchill's calming scent thankful that he was kind enough to just let her sit with him. Feeling his tongue glide across her head the ginger and black molly closed her amber eyes. It took her awhile to ponder his offer. Was it really okay for her to stay here with him? Looking up she met his gaze, her eyes slightly misty. " Really? " She asked him before pressing her head to his shoulder. " Thanks you Churchill. " Selena added her voice full of gratitude. This didn't feel real and at the same time it felt so real that it was overwhelming.

Churchill looked at her, seeing her like that did hurt him more than he ever thought it would, he sure would make him pay if the two came face to face. "Since the day you left to go with him, I knew something would happen, if only I knew were you went, I would've told you what I thought of this." The rogue mewed and gave her head a nuzzle as she pressed herself into his shoulder. "You know... Seeing you like this hurts me, Selena, you didn't deserve this..." He added and closed his eyes as he took in her lovely scent, things like this always happened to the best cats out there, never would he have done something to hurt her, after all, he had always had an eye on her, and that came from way back then, when he had just left RiverClan. "Of course, you'll always be welcomed here, I've known your brother for so long, and since all your family is pretty much all the back at your old den, I assumed it would be better to have you here and not have everyone on your back." He explained and started covering her in comforting licks again, he had grown really caring of his best friend's family and she was no exception.

Hearing the tom's words Selena's heart ached. She didn't want to put him in pain, he didn't deserve that. Causing him pain by being in pain made it worse. She didn't want to bring him pain, he didn't deserve that. "I'm sorry." She sniffled just loud enough to be heard. She felt bad, not only her own pain and aged but knowing that that affected Churchill was hurting because she was. It wasn't fair. It was her stupid choice that resolved in her getting hurt why did that have to affect him. " I shouldn't have left. If I had just asked for advice I wouldn't have hurt you! I'm sorry. " The molly meowed tears running down her muzzle. Why did life have to be so hard? As Churchill spoke again she wanted to thank him but her voice would work. It wouldn't let her speak instead she just set silently allowing the tom to comfort her. She'd given a small nod, it would have been a nightmare going back to her family. Her mother probably would be up set and her six sisters were all so different it would be hard to tell what they'd think. Then their was her brother would who would probably be overbearing. Being able to stay with Churchill really was a blessing.

Churchill looked in her eyes and listened to her, but soon enough saw her break down into tears and for closer to her, leaving no free space between them, their furs pressed against one another, he hated seeing her like this and seeing him being so caring for someone wasn't like him at all, but he had always felt that way for her, he had looked for her through a good part of the forest and failed to find her. "It was my fault as well, I should've told you how I felt before this happened, you wouldn't have left so suddenly... And you wouldn't have ended up with him..." He mewed, he preferred to tell her sooner than later. The tom was giving her a shoulder to cry on and, to be honest, that was probably the best thing he could do right now, to have her let it all out. "Look, if you wish to just let it all out, do it, because I don't want to see you like that." He mewed and pressed his nose against her head, his tail was laid out over hers as they just remained where they were.
