Lucifer
Old English, from Latin, ‘light-bringing, morning star’, from lux, luc- ‘light’ + -fer ‘bearing’. Lucifer (sense 1) is by association with the ‘son of the morning’ (Isa. 14:12), believed by Christian interpreters to be a reference to Satan.
"A..a-am I really that bad?"
Raised from a kit by a priest in a small town, Lucifer is a pure black cat with yellow piercing eyes who was given pity when found on the street. The priest took him in, gave him food, shelter, and a name, Michael. He was ever grateful...but he couldn't have expected what would happen next.
He escaped one day, following his owner to wherever he went during the day as he had always been curious but he went out into the street only to be scared by a car. He ran and the car swerved to the right, hitting another one with a loud crash. This made Michael stop and stare as twolegs hurried to escape the wreckages but he stopped for too long, another car came from behind and swerved, barely missing him and instead colliding with the other two cars.
It was the only accident seen in the town in ten years.
The priest had already gotten to the other side of the intersection and was staring at everything, he had seen what just happened and he fixed his gaze on Michael. His face contorted in anger and he brought out the shiny weapon hanging from his neck which he used to purify others. He held it out to Michael and cried out words which he couldn't understand but the only one he actually remembered was the one that made everyone turn and stare, "Lucifer."
He ran. That was two years ago. Now he continued to hide in the shadows of the town, observing with a watchful eye and appearing unto those who need a good scaring. He has become a legend in this town, the boogeyman, the one who sees, hears, and knows all, the light bringer. He is Lucifer.
What I need:
A love interest. Somebody pure of heart, someone who sees the good in everyone, someone who knows about Lucifer and tries to get him to be good. I need someone to purify this tormented feline, someone to show him the light as well as to get him to accept it. He needs somebody, will that somebody be you?
