We're lost, aren't we? {Open}
That was the first thing Penny growled after two days of trekking across the barren landscape, seeing nothing but vast farmland, giant stalks of a tannish yellow, and the occasional red structure. Her and her brother, Houdini, had been wandering aimlessly for so long now, she gazed back at her tail and was almost tempted to snap it off for food. Water hadn't been a problem thankfully or else they both would've collapsed a long time ago. She gazed over to her brother, the sun sinking into his black fur but bouncing off his white underbelly and face as she asked again. "We're lost, aren't we?"
"No," Houdini shouted defiantly, gazing left to right frantically as he tried to locate where they were. Eventually, though, he sighed, hung his head, and gazed at his sister's tabby pelt, realizing how skinny she looked, and met her yellow gaze. "Yeah, yeah, we're lost."
