where Harefoot meets Wolf

Harefoot chased a rabbit across the moor, not realizing that he had left Windclan territory. With a sharp bite to the rabbit's neck, he raised his head to see an unfamiliar cat standing a few tail-lengths away from him.

He awkwardly approached her, curiosity ruling over his loyalty to the warrior code.

"Huh, of course. I can catch a rabbit with my eyes closed." He tilted his head. "Are you a kittypet? You don't smell like a Clan cat."

"Oh. If you're a loner, that must mean you're by yourself." He padded up to her and dropped the rabbit at her paws. "Take it. Maybe I'll teach you how to catch rabbits like I do another day. How does that sound?"

"Harefoot, and you?" He turned to head down the hill. "Tomorrow at moonhigh?"

He could barely contain the thrill of meeting a loner on a simple hunt.

Harefoot's pelt was itching as he waited for his denmates to fall asleep. He creeped out of camp and found himself running towards the border.

He looked around and licked his chest to hide his excitement.

Wolf snuck up behind him. "Boo!" She said jumping out from a bush. @esa
