Quailstar padded out of her den and looked around. She smiled and padded toward high cliff.
(Once more people join I’ll call a clan meeting))

BadgerSnow looked over at the peppy she-cat, kind of annoyed. Nobody should ever be that happy about something, especially in territory where you make one false moves and you’re dead. He sighed as he tailed behind the ever-so-jolly nuisance. She wasn’t promising, but it was his duty to serve her through and through. He sat on a ledge that wasn’t apart of the cliff, but close enough to be taller than the other cats.

”Snowheart?..” Chillypaw stuck her head into the medicine cat den, seeing her mentor sitting there, busy with herbs. “Uh.. do you need anything? Herbs? Help?” She was excited to be her apprentice, and wanted to start as soon as possible. Careful not to annoy her, Chillypaw bent her head by Snowheart to observe what she was doing.

Chillypaw scared Snowheart when she walked, which made Snowheart accidentally spill the herbs she was carrying, ”Crap..” Snowheart mumbled to herself, then she noticed chillypaw“OH! Hello, Chillypaw, do you mind helping me clean up this mess?” SNowheart began to put the herbs that she spilt back into the beech leaf she used to carry them.

”Of course.” She bent down her head and picked up the herbs scattered on the floor. There was dock leaves, borage, poppy seeds, and horsetail. She nudged them together in a pile, then sorted them out into separate groups with her paws. She picked each group up and put them on the shelves. “Anything else?” she asked her mentor. Then observing the stacks of herbs, she identified there was an empty spot that a certain herb should have replaced. She recalled seeing it in that certain spot.. a gray-brown bark. What was it.? Alder Bark! She thought suddenly. It eases toothaches. she remembered this with pride. “Shouldn’t I get some Alder Bark?” she asked Snowheart, nudging her muzzle up to the empty place on the shelf.

”Hmm good idea.” Snowheart went over to the entrance of the med den while she said that, Snowheart sat down and looked at all the MOnutainClan cats. “Go ahead” Snowheart looked back towards Chillypaw, then back at the MountainClan cats.

She padded out of the den. Chillypaw was usually pretty brave, but she hadn’t been out of the camp so much. She had to admit, she was a little intimidated by it. Anything could happen out there. She didn’t want to come crawling back to Snowheart, begging for her to walk her out of the camp like a kit. Instead, she padded over to Snowclaw. Straightening up, she prepared to ask the warrior the question. ”Uh.. hi, Snowclaw. Snowheart wants me to go out and collect Alder Bark. Could you, uh.. come with me.?” she waited for her response.
