Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
The young leader dipped her head back as she breathed in the cold gust of fresh air. The leader had forced herself to get up early so she could eat and head out into the moor. She had already called both apprentices out of their den, told them to eat if they were hungry, and then meet in the territory. There was this strange nervous lump in her gut that no amount of calming breaths would make disappear, it probably had nothing to do with the fact that last time she was out in the moor with Parasite he had indirectly murdered her. Nope, couldn't be that all. Probably just the cold or the weasel she ate, there was frost on the grass?! Fluffing up her lilac coat, Twilightstar sat down and waited for the apprentices to join her. The faster they got this done the quicker she could return to her den and go back to sleep.

[Stag's 'adventure' will be next btw <3, while he is in dilemma of returning(getting kicked out of StC) feel free to continue posting]
Assessment time! Stagpaw didn't really know wherever to be excited, sullen or well... normal. To some extent he couldn't really believe he'd come this far... it was kind of surreal. Considering the fact that he'd been unable to walk or well, walk properly when he'd first joined the clan the fact that he was now becoming a warrior was insane... but well, not as insane and he was and walking speedily up to Twiglight, he made sure to bump into her. Well... not made sure. It was more that, like normal, he didn't look where he was going and proceeded to place a paw on her tail and then slipped in the fur. Face first he face planted in front of the leader but quickly sat up, fur now an absolute mess as the morning frost on the moors stuck to it. "I'm READY!" Nope... but couldn't let Twiggy know that!

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
[ @Zesty Mango @Arie @Moonraven ]
Stagpaw was becoming a warrior... Rushingmoor felt old for the first time in his life. To be fair, Stagpaw wasn't his biological son, so his age had little to say about Mushy's age. Shoving aside the strange fatherly feelings, Rush trotted out into the crisp air and shook out his fur to fluff himself up against the chill of the air, looking around for Twi and Stag.
Making his way out of camp, the striped warrior honed in on the lilac form of the leader and jogged over, twitching his nose as the mist of his warm breath fanned out before him. Stagpaw's face plant prompted a laugh from Rushingmoor as he approached and he held out a paw to rub it on the kid's head.
"Big day, kid! You excited?"
Golden eyes slipped up to Twilight and Rushingmoor offered her a small smile. They still hadn't talked about his slip-up during their last adventure and it weighed heavily on his mind. He'd have to bring it up at some point- not now obviously, thankfully- and he dreaded it.
"Thanks for inviting me."

[Thanks for nagging me Arie]
Gullpaw yawned as she padded over Twilightstar and Rushingmoor a small smile on her face, it was weird smiling, but she wouldn’t complain. She already knew she’d pass the battling section considering it appeared her opponent would be Stagpaw, but if she had to spar Twilightstar, well she’d fail that. She probably could handle Rushingmoor, great stars, she couldn’t become a warrior if she had to spar Twilightstar,” Morning Twilightstar, Rushingmoor....Stagpaw.” she meowed. She paused on Stagpaw, because she thought it sounded more respectful greeting the leader and warrior separately from the apprentice.

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
Twilightstar looked over her shoulder as the cats started appearing, as Parasite darted over, basically running into her, the leader had gotten so used to his strange habit that she's started to brace for impact when he showed up. His exclamation had her thinking a very strange thought about a yellow box creature walking out of some plant yowling the same 'I'm ready' over and over again, annoying the hell out of his poor, grumpy, neighbor.
Anyway, back to more pressing concerns, like the mild awkwardness sensation that came and went as Mushy showed. They haven't talked in a while, at some point she was going to have to face this weirdness, but today was more about the apprentices so that could wait.
Her tail waved back and forth in a slow curvy S shape as Gullpaw made up the last of their little group. That was everyone. Twilightstar felt like she should probably make the pair of apprentices fight each other or something, but WindClan wasn't particularly fight orientated, she was more interested in ensuring the pair had the traits that gave WindClan its name and that was their speed.
"We're going to play a game," Twilightstar announced, standing and stretching, green eyes settling briefly on Mushy. Since he was here he could help out. "Mushy," the leader raised a paw to point at the tom, "and I am going to be the rabbits you two are going to be the hunters." Twilightstar was debating on making a certain place an end zone, but realistically rabbits only had their holes to hide in.
"Your job is to track us down and catch us. You win if you can catch us, you lose if you tire out before us. Parasite, go near the cliffs and you fail automatically." Twilightstar meowed, ears raised for any questions.

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]

Ok. This sounded good! and easy. All he had to do was run as fast as Twiggy right? But... he couldn't do that! He wasn't fast! NO NO! He was going to fail! He was going to fail fail! He didn't want to be a disappointment but how could Twiglight expect him to be able to run as fast she could? He had his crippled paw and although it was much less bad than before it still hindered him in running as fast as the average Windclan cat, especially here with the frosty snow... he would just slip and slide and then fall on either his head or his ass... and he highly doubted that was the point.
But he was ready and squaring up he started to just.. run. Because Twiggy would go hide somewhere and well... he was TRYING. Spotting the leader further ahead Stagpaw just tried to stretch out his paws as best as he could but something clicked in his brain and instead of following Twiggy or rather trying to chase her down he just continued out over the moors, and then proceeded to slip, and loose his balance.
He was rolling and rolling and rolling and his head was getting dizzy but this was fun was it not? It really really was funny! When he sat up again he'd somehow managed to lose Twiggy and was covered in snow. He was completely white and cold and snow was just sticking to him like stupid. Was it because he was stupid? No, surely not that could not be why. But he did spot something in the distance and proceeded to stand up with all the snow covering him and his fur and his head too.
They were FLOOF MONSTERS! those who'd been really really comfortable to sleep on. Could he go sleep on one? Surely yes! So heading over there, making sure to lift his legs high in order to avoid getting stuck in the tall snow that was covering the lower area of the moors he had ALMOST reached a sheep when he heard the sound of something bad. Was it.. was it a dog? He remembered hearing one before but couldn't exactly remember the sound.
That was when the floof monsters started moving and Stagpaw couldn't do anything but try to move, but somehow they were bigger than him and... he heard a crack then another and it all went dark... as he slowly left his body spotting himself below him and he realized... the sheep had killed him. Trampled him. OH NO. What about TWIGGY? the now star-cat let out a small wail as he was pulled towards the stars.
Stagpaw was dead.
[death time for Staggy boy, once again feel free to continue]

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
@ Moonraven @ Beau @ Arie
[Just assuming Gull is going to try this the sensible way and like...wouldn’t know what happened to Stag]
Gullpaw forced herself not to roll her eyes. Of course they had to play a game because of stupid Stagpaw...why did Twilightstar even like that thing she thought forcing herself to keep a neutral face. She gave a nod and once the warrior’s went off, she decided to focus on Rushingmoor, he would be a decent one, Twilightstar would be busy going easy so Stagpaw could easily pass, Rushingmoor would give her a challenge, so she sprinted as fast as she could after Rushingmoor, her plan wasn’t to speed up and catch him, instead she’d wear him out until he slowed and she could just pounce. She was young and agile and clearly had more endurance than Rushingmoor, shame it was with the snow. It slowed her down a bit, but snow slowed everyone down after all.

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
[ @Moonraven @Arie @Zesty Mango ]
"I'm sorry, what?"
Rushingmoor had come to observe and offer moral support- not to be chased around the snow like a rabbit. It didn't seem he had much choice, of course, seeing as this was Twiggy he was talking to, so the tom shrugged and headed off. He wanted to put some distance between himself and the trackers, seeing as rabbits could only run off rather than fight and cats had to track them before they could chase them or trap them.
Rushingmoor moved at a leisurely jog. As far as he knew he wasn't yet being followed, so conserving energy seemed the best move. His warrior brain told him to find some high ground and look around to see if he could find Gullpaw or Stagpaw and flip the game on them, but he was of course restricted by his rabbit role. Rabbits, unfortunately for them, didn't strategize. Thus, all he could do was wander around and wait for a hint of cat scent so he could start running.

Re: Gullpaw & Stagpaw's Assessment [P]
Twilightstar felt that by now, Mushy should not be shocked to be roped into any of Twilightstar's jobs. If she could pass all of her duties off on him, it would be done. Seeing as she heard no protests, Twilightstar bolted off already assuming that Parasite would be darting after her since it seemed like a Parasite thing to do. Should she be concerned about her brain and its ability to think like a moron? The leader's legs protested against going up a hill, but she'd deal with their wrath later. Twilightstar turned around, ears raised and eyes scanning for any sign of Parasite. She hadn't been going very fast, aware of how Parasite's paw plagued him, yet quick enough to give the little guy a workout. But where was he? She couldn't see his pelt anywhere? Climbing down the snowy hill was easier than going up it, Twilightstar retraced her tracks, trying to see where she had lost the little guy. After finding the small prints, she proceeded to follow them, ears perked as she froze midstep hearing the cries of sheep?
The barks of a dog in the distance had her worrying, it would be just like Parasite to go play with his Floof monsters instead of taking this assessment seriously and get eaten by a dog. Bouncing over some dung, the leader couldn't help but let out an alarmed yowl when a black and white dog darted past her, ignoring her in favor of a stray sheep it was herding. She watched them for a second until the sheep and dog vanished into the outskirts, and proceed on with her search for Parasite.
She did locate him, the lilac feline had been assuming she'd find him either crying since he got lost or running over to convince her to bring a sheep home again, completely forgetting about the task he was supposed to be doing. But instead he was just laying eerily still. The leader felt her heart do that thing it does when her concern was skyrocketing and her heart decided to jump into her throat, making breathing rather painful, suffocating her with emotions.
"Parasite?" Was that her voice? Nah, it was far too meek and tremble to be her own. The she-cat quickly ducks her head to butt against the limp apprentice's but got no response. The molly plopped herself down, ears plastered to her head, and far to overwhelm with this raw emotion to bother crying. Her heart hurt, it felt like there were these vines full of razor-sharp thorns entangled around it, squeezing and constricting with every beat it took. What the hell was she supposed to do?

[Sorry for the wait, I was waiting for Arie forgetting Stag was dead] @ Moonraven @ Beau @ Arie
Gullpaw began searching and caught a whiff of Mushymoor’s scent and began to run towards it, following it as she figured it would lead it to him, but also looking around because for all she knew he had run around in circles so she would get dizzy and retraced his scent to escape her.
