The Return of the Tadpole!!

Hiya! As you guys know I've returned which means some of my characters are returning! One of the characters is Toadkit, which some of you guys may remember as Frogfang's kit. The lore to back up her disappearance while I was gone is that she and her siblings (one of her other siblings is currently missing) snuck out of camp and she died. The clan never found her body so they just assumed she's dead.

Toadkit was killed by a fox and was in Purgatory for a few moons, her siblings are now apprentices and she feels left out. So she eventually figures a way out to return to the living!

I need a Shadowclan Member to find her on the forest, keep in mind she is physically 4 moons old, and covered in scars. The image below is what she looks like (minus the blood now). She will be very defiant and rude, only wanting to see her father (if Frogfang isn't part of the patrol or Lilypaw, you WILL need to carry her by scruff).

 

Eventually a Dead Cat (Starclan or Dark Forest since she was in purgatory, or another Purgatory cat) will come haunt her nightmares, telling her that she needs to return to Purgatory. Eventually she will befriend this cat and they will train her, and she won't need to return to Purgatory.

Age (Physical and Overall for Dead Cat) : If I remember correctly she was around 30-35 moons when she died, currently she should be around 60-65.

Role: Dead cat
Appearance : A ashen furred shecat with a feminine physique. She has pale blue eyes that glitter happily. She’s on the average side, standing at 9.4 inches and weighing in at about 10-11 pounds.
Personality : A very motherly, kind cat. Ashfeather had her own kits before she died, though, she saw one to apprenticehood but the other two were given to her kittypet mate. She can be stubborn and sarcastic, but is typically protective.

Username: Celeste

Character: Hazeldust

Age (Physical and Overall for Dead Cat) : Hazeldust was 21 moons old when she died, and is now around 50-60 moons old, though her physical appearance has not greatly changed in this time.

Pronouns : She/he/they- he doesn't have a preference, though he is biologically female, and at times considers themself genderfluid.

Role : Dead kitto

Appearance : Hazeldust is a black and red mackerel calico-tabby with short fur and hazel eyes. Their voice is rough - think Zuko, from AtLA.

Personality : Before their death, Hazeldust was a scrappy fighter who got into some bad scrapes after morally questionable actions. He didn't have a wonderful home life due to an abusive father, but after said father was killed in a border skirmish, she was able to finally breathe a bit. Their mother was always supportive, but simply didn't do enough against her father's tyranny. She was very sensitive, and had to endure her mate's abuse for far too long - by that time, all she wanted was a fresh start. His mother soon had another kit with who would become his stepfather, who in turn did his best to care for Hazeldust, but both their parents were heavily focused on their new family - not her. Her sister, on the other hand, did care, and Hazeldust was fiercely protective of her up until his death.

Hazeldust went through a dark spell when he was exploring his gender identity and came out, only to find out her mother was extremely transphobic. They were disowned, and ran away from ShadowClan to try to escape all their feelings of self-doubt and the dark cloud of judgement his mother had become. They traveled for a few short days, until he reached a small, abandoned barn. She decided it would be a good place to rest, and decided to settle down there for a few days. Unfortunately, only four days later, a group of young twolegs entered the barn. They were breathing through strange sticks which emitted smoke, and their cackling laughter drove Hazeldust to hide in the barn's walls. Before she knew what had happened, the barn was up in flames, and she wasn't able to escape in time. He laid there, lonely and scared, listening to the screams of the twolegs until - finally - death overtook their blackened, scorched body, whisking them away from this life of fleeting joy to be with the stars.

He has resided in the Purgatory since, watching over their sister. During this time, they have become bitter and resentful, biding her time as they wait for their chance to 'take back' the life she knows she should have had. She'll have known about Toadkit's existence from afar, but what with Toadkit's resurrection - and his being dead - he'll begin to pester her about joining him once more - until she realizes how she can further fulfill this life of theirs which was so blatantly cut short. They'll train Toadkit, yes, but also draw on their biological father's tactics of manipulation to keep Toadkit on her side and available as she becomes invested in Clan life once more - a willing mercenary, if you will.
