Ashleigh huffed, basically kicking the door open to her house, looking around with the heavy box in her arms. "Plony? I got the thing you wanted. Where are ya?" She shouted to the empty house, slamming the box down onto the table. She remembered faintly that she may be in her room, so she crept soundlessly towards the room, she wanted to surprise her, like she always would, but when she touched the knob of the door and leaped inside, the room was vacant.

She huffed in confusion, falling onto her bed, lazily lifting her arms over her eyes. Plony was never there to be scared of her anymore! She loved to play little pranks, sometimes she could really catch her off guard. Shaking away her disappointment, she stood up, and suddenly felt an electrifying, hot pain shoot up from her foot.

She let out a startled yelp, clutching her foot as she toppled back onto the bed, tears already threatening her eyes, her whole leg pained, like it had been shocked or burned. Looking at it was the real shock though. Dark, black veins webbed underneath her skin, spreading rapidly, her toes and most of her foot already withered and dead looking, despite the fact she could still move it. The pain spread to her hips, and her other leg. What the hell?! She screamed again from the rushing pain and looked down to a broken shard of glass on the floor, covered in a black, oozing liquid.

Her eyes widened, and opened her mouth in a silent screech as it spread up to her torso, and stood up, missing the glass and rushing to the bathroom desperately.

"seriously? i just- ugh fine, william. i'll take car of it!" she hissed to the bard, whipping around and opening the door to the woman's room. she walked over, setting out her supplies and working quickly, collecting the virus. "i should be getting home now, shakesphere. i'll check on her tomorrow," she mumbled, sliding out of the building and walking the long path to her own old house. she stopped for a moment,shivering slightly, before walking in and slamming the wooden door. her eyes widened as she stepped into the small glowing object. she reappeared in her closet, before stepping out. the first thing she noticed was the glass. "oh crap..." she mumbled, before lifting it with her gloved hands. she couldn't get sick. it was impossible. "ashleigh?!" she called, changing her outfit quickly. ashleigh couldn't know what she truly was. her eyes widened, and she rushed towards the other's voice, tripping once and slamming into a wall another time.

The woman panted and gasped as she clutched her foot in the bathroom, the darkness had spread to her chest now. She had removed any glass, by the stars she didn't know how, the blood spurting from her foot was black, and she couldn't be more panicked. Her mind had gone into a strange autopilot mode, she was moving rapidly and quickly, convinced if she didn't work soon she would surely die. She wrapped about three bandages around her foot, and before, put a layer of gauze over her wound.

Ashleigh's breathing was getting much harder, and, falling to the ground, she faintly heard a voice calling out her name. Plony! Was all she could think. What in the world-- had Plony done this to her? She couldn't possibly! Plony was her best friend, just like her, lost but making it. She would never. It would be impossible anyway, Ashleigh had never seen anything like this. Abruptly, pain shot through her arms and feet, and she could only look in dismay and horror as her fingers withered as the rest of her.

Hearing Plony's voice brought her empty hope, she opened her mouth, meaning to call out to her, instead letting out a ferocious screech, inhuman, wrong. Her neck was black, and gradually turning into that withered skin, she knew something horrifying would happen once it hit her head, death, but was she ready? She couldn't have ever thought she would go like this. She weakly reached for the cabinet, opening it, she wasn't sure why, she just wanted to try anything, and all she saw were bottles full of black liquid, just like what had brought upon this misery. However, deep in the back was something different. Without another thought, she reached for it, weakly picking up the bottle that felt like thousands of pounds.

She smashed it on the ground, and when the liquid touched her wrinkly skin, she passed out.

her eyes widened as she entered the damp bathroom. it was a good idea to keep shoes on, she supposed. she grabbed the wrinkled arm of the girl and pulled her into her own room. "i'll clean up later..." she mumbled, inspecting her carefully. she had to assess how bad this situation was. it wasn't unfixable, but it wasn't going to be easy, either. she had to check the size of the veins, how wrinkled and withered the skin is, and the oozing. she stared at the girl, before standing and opening her closet. she stood on her tip toes, grabbing a small tube, before noticing there was none of the regular liquid that could actually heal this. "crap." she mumbled, rushing to the kitchen and unlocking her secret cabinet, grabbing her supplies and blending them into a deep grey liquid. after pouring it int the syringe and praying, oh so dearly praying, that it was correct, she rushed up the stairs, rushing to her side and sliding the syring into her left foor, the first part that started oozing.

More injury and blood!

Ashleigh jolted up, letting out that raspy screech again, whatever the hell poked her in the foot hadn't subsided anything, no, it burned worse. She had sworn somewhere she had seen some book that said once you had enough pain you couldn't feel anything at all, but guess what? Not the case! Her mind whirled, and she tossed and turned, her sight blurry and much darker. She looked at herself, then around wildly, she could almost make out another being next to her, familiar but so far from her tainted mind. Ashleigh couldn't tell what was going on, she was unsure if she was just herself anymore. It was unfair this was happening to her. Why not anyone else? Why not anyone else to thrash about and scream from this intense agony? Her mind wasn't in the right place. All she could think of was really emotions, finding it difficult to put thoughts together.

She could feel her body changing, and quickly, at that. Her fingers and toes lengthened, and she could tell they must've been getting sharp because when she hit the floor with her wild behavior, she had gotten herself stuck in the wood. Her teeth did the same too, and she bit off her tongue in the process of another deadly scream. Sticky, crimson blood rolled down her chin, and though it was painful, in turn there was a new tongue in her mouth, longer and much more sensitive to the metallic taste of the fluid. She gagged and brought her hands to her face with ferocity, almost every part of her was lengthening and becoming different, her ears enlarged and became much longer, and very sensitive to noise, flicking and twitching at every bump she made with her turning.

The worst of it all, however, was the large, extruding appendages making their way to rip from her back, and once they broke skin she let out a shriek, they rose in the air and knocked away anything near Ashleigh. Next, was what she could only assume as a pointed tail sprout from her, making that yelp again. She could tell that her legs were bending, and growing longer, but she could only focus on her pain as she thrashed about until the process was soon over, and she could only fall over in her sitting position to cover her head and use her new limbs to cover her.

"I FORGOT!! IT'S THE WHITE FLUID!!" she hissed, rushing back downstairs, washing out the tube and quickly grabbing the items. she mashed one, and blended it with the others, making it into a pure, glowing white. she made extra, poured some into the tube, rushed upstairs and slid on her mask. "ashleigh, stay still..." she said trying to get back to the foot that she needed to get to. she stuck the needle in, pushing the white liquid in, hoping this would work. she poured in more, one hand tightly gripping a floor board, and she stuck it in the second time. last time, she almost missed.

Ashleigh could feel a short sensation in her foot as she was rolled out on the floor, but she ignored it, besides her pointed tail flicking out to whatever it was to hit it away from the painful feeling. She could feel herself growing differently again, this time with only minimum pain. She really wanted to thrash, or speak, or do anything, but she was still as a plank, and couldn't convince her limbs to move. Her toes and fingers only shortened, but she could still feel the sharpness of them. Looking at herself with glowing eyes, she saw her skin was back to tan, however, her tail and what she thought were wings were both still black, and the ends of her fingers and toes were black as well. It was alarming, but she couldn't form the energy to respond. Instead, she let herself rest onto the ground, her legs were rearranging again, straighter, but not completely. She just hoped this meant her suffering was over.

her eyes sharpened and she sighed, standing and taking her mask off, sliding it into the closet, along with her boots. she picked ashleigh up and moved her to her own room, setting her on her own bed and allowing her to rest after tucking her in. she rushed back to her room, and cleaned quickly, setting the liquid in containers. she slid into her own bed, tired from all of the work she did that day. she just hoped ashleigh would be ok. really, really hoped so. she woke up after hearing ashleigh's voice.

Ashleigh's eyes sprung open, to the overwhelmingly bright room, her nose twitched and every part of her body felt on fire..including the WINGS and TAIL she now possessed. She let out a yelp of surprise of her new limbs. However, the noise wasn't corrupted like before.

Her body was already making its way off the bed and into the bathroom once again, only skidding to a quick stop once she saw the glass on the floor, and stepped away in fear. Running, she started to the next possible mirror. Thank the stars it was in her own room, as she ran with an abnormal sprint, hitting the door frame before shoving the door open to look in the mirror, it was bigger than most but not very.

She looked at herself in horror. Her feet and hands had elongated fingers and toes, that had very long, sharp-looking nails at the end of them, like claws. Her legs were bent back slightly and closer to her feet, it turned to a sooty, glittering color. A long, black tail wrapped around her thigh, flicking and twitching uncontrollably, and paired with it was a freaking set of WINGS, open wide and hitting the ceiling, again, with that sooty, glittering color. One, small visible fang hung from her mouth as she frowned, and when she reached up carefully with a finger to look at her teeth, it showed a long row of sharp teeth. Her eyes were an illuminated white, contrasting strangely with her tan skin, speaking of which, she had speckles of black scatter over her face and arms and legs. She stuck out her tongue, too, and it was a glittering white, and unnaturally long. Last of all, she pushed back her partially curly hazelnut hair to reveal long, twitching ears, they drooped and had a contrasting black sooty color, just like the rest of her abnormal limbs.

Tears pricked in her eyes, she was a sight, a horrible, ugly sight. She crumpled to the ground, wrapping her wings around her and pulling her knees to her chest. She was a monster, everyone would hate her, her family, her friends, Plony. Sobs racketed the room, but she couldn't care less, haphazardly locking the door with her surprisingly controllable tail.

her eyes widened and she stood, rushing to the girl's room, not hearing footsteps behind her. "ashleigh?! ashleigh, come here i have something i want to tell yo-" she started, before a man's voice interrupted. "first of all, this is your house? it's... okay i guess. and two, i have never seen your face. it's kind of... weird for a woman, you know?" he said, causing piony to curse under her breath. "will, i'm kinda busy!" she hissed.
