Lily sat on a cliff, sighing. Why was it so hard to fit in around here? Sure she had weird ears, so what? People make fun of her for everything! And yet there is a human in my magic class, and she is one of the best students! How ironic! A pure human can do magic while me, a hybrid, can't even work up the courage to say that I can lift things without touching them! It had been a while since she had been to the human realm, and she wishes she could go back. Lily was targeted just for her inability to use magic, and she just made things so much worse for herself. I'll show them, one day... One day they'll see what I can do... But that day is not today... Lily rubbed her arm, watching the sky sadly.

Ari wished they could be a regular student, but Belos had insisted that they only went half the day, and then for the rest of the day would serve him as a scout. Ari sighed and gazed around. Oh, there was another person nearby! They sat next to her, and muttered, "Hey."
