hello, hello! today i present to you all a very ambitious plot - do i have the capacity for such a storyline? absolutely not but i’m gonna try it anyways! let me give some context; it all started with a whim on the discord…
“character concept: lionkit and lambkit. sun and moon dynamic - they become friends as apprentices and lovers as warriors. they grow old together, have lots of kiddos, and die together. then they are reincarnated, again and again. sunnykit and rainykit, firekit and icekit, dawnkit and duskkit, etc. etc. sometimes they are rivals, sometimes lovers, and sometimes friends but each life their souls are intrinsically tied together. in between they get a few blissful moons in starclan together before doing it all over again”
to clarify, this finder will mark their first life of many
this had a pretty positive reception and i myself fell more and more in love with the concept. after almost three months, i finally would like to try and put it into action. before i get into the finder portion, allow me to elaborate on my idea, as well as lay down some rules for this plot.
- this plot will involve the use of several reincarnation cards. if you are not comfortable with the concept of reincarnation then this plot may not be for you. if you need assistance in affording the cards when the time comes, i will be more than happy to work with you to get the kk needed.
- this plot is very near and dear to my heart. please do not steal or copy the concept with my permission.
- you must be willing to keep a character very active, potentially for years (though there can be breaks in between lives). part of applying to this plot is agreeing to adopt out the character or allowing me to adopt out the character in order to keep them active. if you are not comfortable with this, please do not apply.
- please avoid copying others’ applications or character concepts for this plot - i’m looking for originality!
- codeword is cupid; please sneak the word into your application or vm/dm it to me.
- while not necessary, explicitly stating you agree to the guidelines of this plot in your application would be appreciated.
- of course, everything which happens in this plot must fall within site guidelines - furthermore any romantic relation between the Sun and the Moon in any of their lives will solely be developed once both have reached warriorhood. They will never have an age gap more than 5 moons (in most lives they will be born with days of each other)
q: they have so many lives! what names will they go by as they get older or when they’re in starclan?
a: with so many names for the pair, they will be colloquially know as either their most recent life’s names or as the Sun and the Moon.
q: which character am i applying for? the Sun or the Moon?
a: currently you can apply for both the sun and the moon, either choosing one or making separate applications for both. after selecting one i will formulate the counterpart to be roleplayed by myself.
q: how much do i need to write to apply for this plot?
a: i always try to avoid placing limitations on how much or how little my roleplay partners write in their replies - after all, a long post does not necessarily mean a well-written one. i only ask that you write more than one line, and that it is substantial enough for me to give a proper response. if you feel your writing skills are still maturing, that is fine as well! my personal writing skills are nowhere near expert, and i actually prefer to roleplay with developing writers on occasion. simply put, don’t be afraid to apply!
q: how many lives will the Sun and Moon live?
a: the Sun and Moon will live as many lives as we’d like! the time period in between lives may vary - after all, it is only natural to want a break - and the plot will end when we feel like their story has come to a close. after their story has ended they will be living their days together in StarClan.
q: what faction are the Sun and Moon in?
a: they can be in any faction you wish, from ShadowClan to a kittypet! i will adjust my character accordingly, though if you have a specific plot point revolving around them being from two different clans then please include that in your application.
q: what age are the Sun and Moon?
a: for your application, they may start as any age you’d like. if you want to start as kits and have them grow up together for their first life, great! if you want them to meet as warriors and thus create your character as a warrior, that’s perfectly fine as well! as with any other fluctuations, i will adjust my character accordingly. i only ask that you do not apply with an elder character.
q: anything else i should know?
a: there is no form for this finder! this is a passion project, and i want to see that reflected in your application! the more creative the better.
lionkit and lambkit are the ‘default’ names for their first life, and i have a handful of other name ideas for future lives; however, we don’t necessarily have to use those names and you are welcome to offer your own unique alternative name. if you do so, please also include counterpart ideas, preferably the opposite of your suggested name.
please reach out if you have questions - just be sure to read the faq’s first. if a question gets asked enough then i may add it to my preexisting faq’s.
applications will close on the 3rd of March, and it will likely be a few more days before i select the roleplayer. this date may be extended, or i may select early depending on applications and interest.

lambkit is a extremely tired and drowsy kit with a sleeping disorder ( narcolepsy ), that often gets in the way of his life. Having little time awake as a kit makes him one of the quietest in the bunch, but also the loneliest kit in the nursery. preferring to stay away from large crowds and keep to smaller groups he's prone to very little interaction. known to be a gentle cat with a soft spoken voice almost a whisper.

ok s here we goooo, hmm lets start with the simple things first, how old are they? simple 4 moons old. whats their gender? easy its male ( but hes more on the feminine side ^^ ) any problems? yes a few! firstly this guy has narcolepsy? whats narcolepsy you might ask? its when a person or animal is always in a state or drowsyness and is prone to falling asleep anywhere at anytime. Narcolepsy can also make changes to a persons personality overtime. how big are they? truth be told lamb was the runt of the litter and often struggles not to get stepped on. what clan? windclan is the safest option for him! he'd rather not fall from a tree nor drown but worst of all he'd rather run and hide than get chewed out by dawnstar.

Ok so this is basically where everything really kickstarts. Ahem let’s begin with his personality… Kit personality
Lambkit as stated above is a very kind and compassionate cat with a soft spoken heart. With little interest in fighting or causing fighting some cats wonder if he’s even going to make it. With him struggling to stay awake he often confuses dreams with reality on small occasions.

- Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder that makes people very drowsy during the day. People with narcolepsy find it hard to stay awake for long periods of time. They fall asleep suddenly. This can cause serious problems in their daily routine
- Narcolepsy and cataplexy are rare in cats but have been reported. A cat with narcolepsy may suddenly fall into a deep sleep while standing, sitting, or eating, causing the cat to sway and fall over. A narcoleptic cat may also suddenly fall asleep while climbing, which can cause the cat to fall to the ground.
- Narcolepsy can be associated also with less conspicuous problems, including introversion, sorrowfulness, feelings of inferiority, impaired affectivity modulation, emotional lability, irritability, aggressiveness, and poor attention that some authors have defined as the “narcoleptic personality”

"The light that never stops shining. The light that will never cease nor surrender!" Child of the sun, the bright and warm sun, the light that never ceases to end, they never hesitate to protect the world with their warm arms.
A fighter, they are. In their first life he was a trouble maker that never seemed to stop causing chaos. In his second life, wherever he went... Chaos followed. As the Child of the Sun and the Heir of the Sky, he was never supposed to descend into the mortal realm but he did so anyways. He may love trouble, but he loves his family more. He is chaotic-good aligned, but his intentions are often seen as the opposite of the way they really are/were meant to be seen. Generally friendly, he is very easy to get along with. It is quite obvious that he is slightly arrogant.
He is a handsome tom with short blonde fur. His eyes are a bright amber color with yellowish irises closer to the center.
"Never stop dreaming, because you will never realize possibilities." The moon that shines high in the sky will never stop believing in the best of the world, and no matter how many times they have to be killed just to let others see - they will always be the Martyr of the Moon.
Although he descended from the Heavens, he is far from perfect. He is wary of everything including the sun. Much preferring to work alone, he is very quiet. He, as the Son Of The Moon, is often seen as arrogant when he was dwelling in the Heavens. He speaks in a very formal tone, but he has an accent that obviously labels him as someone who does not belong. And he knows this, but he acts as if it does not hurt when it really does. He tries to act as if nothing phases him, but he is oftentimes found out by the Sun's Child. Much preferring the night as his home, he mostly sleeps during the day and does his things at night.
Beautiful tom with black fur speckled with almost black leopard-like markings and dark blue-green eyes. His fur is long and thick.
As for right now, this is mainly a placeholder for them both!

✯✯✯✯ general name meaning. for her shy, gentle nature and impossibly soft fur clan. shadowclan (for the first life) age. perhaps kit or new apprentice for the first life? i don't mind, just young. gender. cis female orientation. panromantic demisexual (can change over time/through her lives) zodiac. cancer
✯✯✯✯ persona + loving, intelligent, empathetic = introverted, candid, aloof - pessimistic, hesitant, shy personality. lambkit is the embodiment of the moon. she shines bright and cold in the middle of the sea of life, similar to those around her and somehow still set apart. she keeps to herself for the most part, preferring to remain in the safety of her own mind. from there, she creates vivid dreams and brilliant ideas, but very few ever get a peek inside. this is because she harbors a terrible fear of scrutiny and rejection, which causes many to view her as cowardly and weak. lambkit daydreams often, a frustration encountered by those who attempt to interact with her. she gets distracted easily, a flaw she is aware of and tends to over-apologize for. although she is hesitant when it comes to expressing her own perspective and opinion, she believes that actions speak louder than words. independent by nature, she often takes the initiative to do things for herself or for those who are less than fortunate than her, especially kits, elders, and sickly cats. she absolutely adores looking after others, as long as she is welcome. in addition, she is very good at providing care due to her extreme patience and kind heart. there is almost nothing that could make lamb mad, since her immediate reaction to most upsetting situations is sorrow. however, she's tougher than she looks, and knows how to get through emotional strife, emerging stronger on the other side.
✯✯✯✯ fun facts likes. kits, elders, stories, flowers, being alone, daydreaming, stargazing dislikes. loud noises, heights, hurting others, the taste of birds, big crowds strengths. when given the chance, lamb is very good at both sympathizing and empathizing with other cats. she is an excellent listener and knows what to say to cats in pain. she looks at the world with an open mind and curious eye, never making judgments without strong bases. she's also a talented hunter due to her patience and observance, which help her to focus on the task at hand and pinpoint her targets with ease. weaknesses. lamb has extreme stage-fright, and is unable to speak her mind in most situations. she lacks communication skills because of this, and isn't very good at making friends. she also dislikes hurting other cats, which is an obstacle when it comes to battle training, and even worse, actual fighting. although she isn't queasy with regards to physical injuries in the slightest, she gets extremely guilty at even the thought of being the reason behind someone else's pain. phobias. anthropophobia (fear of rejection), claustrophobia (fear of small or crowded spaces)
✯✯✯✯ appearance (for the first life) breed. turkish van/siamese/turkish angora mix coat. long and feathery, remarkably soft pattern. mostly white, with large patches of soft tan fur eyes. soft gold build. slightly smaller than average, lithe and elegant hygiene. lambkit has to spend a lot of time grooming her fur due to its length and pale color. it is often tangled, but she makes sure that it is clean whenever possible.
✯✯✯✯ plot ideas
if you've ever listened to the song astronomy by conan grey (you should if you haven't), i think it would be an amazing theme song for lamb and lion. and possibly for the other more romantic lives as well! essentially, the two of them would come from different clans but have very similar upbringings: one parent out of the picture (dead or unknown) and the other very neglectful. each of them have adapted to this in their own way (one closes up and the other reaches out). they would meet as apprentices at a gathering and form a tentative friendship, which would eventually grow and develop into a closer bond. however, when romantic feelings begin to develop, lamb would try to close up again, denying everything and becoming terrified of taking the next step. perhaps this would be grounds for something dramatic, such as lion leaving their clan to join hers, both of them leaving their clans to be together, or even something as drastic as a battle where they are forced to face off and realize that it's impossible to hurt one another. other ideas for future lives include a tragic romeo & juliet type ending to their romance, a partners in crime mischief-making duo, and an enemies to lovers arc.

- i only rejoined wco recently, but my goal is to be online every day, so you don't have to worry about me being inactive!
- i am completely a-ok with all the rules and guidelines! if i ever become incapable of giving the characters what they deserve, i would be more than happy to help you find a suitable replacement to adopt her. i am also fine with reincarnation, and i will try my best to pay for cards as needed. i may need assistance, which i would definitely let you know about.
- i typically write between 3 and six paragraphs responses for my roleplays, although it depends greatly on the circumstance and my flow of brain juice haha.

Lionpaw circled Lambpaw, his boyish smirk firmly planted on his face and eyes fixed on theirs. It was a green leaf afternoon, a sweeet breeze wafted through the sycamore trees and the brook babbled with a lively youthfulness.
There was air of arrogance about him. (As there often was), and Lambpaw was the focus of his pride today. Usually he’d make an example of any apprentice who wanted to get in his way, Lambpaw had just managed to avoid a good beat down. Besides, it would be a good chance to show off his most recent skill.
‘ ‘ a mere introduction to a life time ‘ ‘
”alright, come on little lamb, i’ll go easy on you! Maybe I can teach you something!” The comment earned him the excited chatter from his peers that he had wanted, enough to charge his enthusiasm. He danced around the edge of the clearing this time taking gentle lunges in Lambpaw direction to entice some kind of nervous reaction from them.
When he’d finished toying with (the most obviously very terrified and threatened by his awesomeness) Lambpaw, he made his move. Dodging from the left, to the right, back to left and attempted to ram both paws into Lambpaws shoulder to knock them off balance…

Instead of the most obviously desired effect, it felt like static electricity swarmed through Lambpaws shoulders and right into his paws. Instead of the totally awesome move Lionpaw had recited hundreds of times, he yowled like a kitten and went stumbling back into the brambles with the shock.
Memories that hadn’t belonged to him, flew three his head like the fluttering wings of a kestrel before ending the moment it began.
‘ ‘ until I crashed headfirst into it ‘ ‘
The roaring laughter of his fellow groupies drowned out by the thumping of his own heart. What was that? How did they do that? Lionpaw sprang up out of the bushes, face flush with his embarrassment and yet pale with bewilderment. ”w- whatever… i- i let you off easy!” he shouted defiantly, feeling the tears fill the corner of his eyes.
And with that, the golden tom spun on his paws and stomped off, leaving behind his unlived memories, his former groupies… and Lambpaw.. who he was going to have a friendly chat with later.

As much as she tried to push it off, as much as she tried to tell herself there was no mutual interest. Lionpaw hung in her brain, like a fly you just couldn’t swat away. ”you are no help… you made me this way! You designed me to hate myself… to hate weakness! What is wrong with wanting to be with someone? Tell me!” her explosive anger was enough to switch her mood back and fourth.
“Lay your pain upon unburneded shoulders, turn your perfection into vulnerability.”
The resentful look in Moonhaze’s eyes was enough, and her mother turned to leave. Just as quiet, just as judgemental, just as awful as she had come. Lambpaw watched her leave, but couldn’t muster up the same kind of hate that her mother had, so instead she ground her teeth in frustration. If Moonhaze wanted her to be perfect and unlovable… she would do just the opposite.
Long had she hidden from her feelings for Lionpaw, but no more. However untrusting, unloving and cold she had grown to become. She would right that wrong, no matter what it took. (This is me totally having forgot to put the code word in here like two days ago! Cupid!) Lambpaw spun on her paws kicking up dirt in her eagerness, she needed to find them. To tell them everything. Even if she didn’t know how.
“There is nothing to run from here. Nothing but yourself, so surrender your heart to the care of someone else”

Lambpaw grew up with a mother obsessed into making her a perfect unfeeling machine, so when she naturally begins to fall in love with Lionpaw she initially rejects it out of fear. Perhaps there is chances for Lamb to hurt Lions feelings and sever the relationship.
Eventually Lamb decides she wants to work on herself and to shake herself free of her mother in pursuit of Lionpaw. I imagine it being a turbulent relationship where Lamb desperately wants to be with Lion but struggles to show it, and often hurts feelings, makes the wrong choices or even pushes Lion away.
