The situation with poisoned prey has escalated, and Firefly Cove along with random parts of ThunderClan territory have been tainted with potential poison. While Bumblestar has expressed not hunting near Cattail Pond, this landmark too has been sabotaged further.
Prey taken throughout ThunderClan now has a decent chance of being impacted by this. This is where you come in!
Not all prey will be deadly, as the cat responsible is inexperienced with toxic plants and baited herbs at random. Participation in this is optional!
Symptoms of being poisoned will range from very mild to severe, and if desired your cat can die.
Things you can include symptom wise:
feeling and being sick, stomach pain, drowsiness, dizziness or weakness, high temperature, chills (shivering), loss of appetite, headache, irritability, difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), breathing difficulties, producing more saliva than normal, skin rash, burns around the nose or mouth, double vision or blurred vision, mental confusion, seizures (fits), loss of consciousness, coma, in severe cases (longer than a couple days would result in death since RP wise they can't treat comas), death
If you wish to opt into this plot, simply say I'm in! with the name(s) of your cats. This is mostly so we can see who's interested / try to track how many cats get sick.
Then, go ahead and get started! You can use whatever symptoms you want, but be aware Drizzlecloud and Springpaw will have trouble treating the poison as not all remedies will be the same. Once your cat is established as Not Feeling Well, send in a healing request to get treated.
To avoid the medicine cat team from being overwhelmed and to try to keep this plot progressing smoothly, we will not be requiring treatments especially if symptoms are mild. Severe reactions should attempt to get healing.
The following is a recommendation on how long your cat should have symptoms, depending on severity. You do not need to follow this, it is just a suggestion.
SYMPTOMS:
Mild: 1 week of discomfort without treatment ; 3 days with
Moderate: 2 weeks of complications; 1 week with treatment
Severe: 3 weeks of complications; 10 days with treatment
Moderate and Severe cases that seek out treatment will likely be confined to camp until their condition improves, meaning they can get exempt from patrols and Clan duties until then.
I'm in with Sunleap, Rainclaw, and Beetlekit. I'll likely get started with Rainclaw and Beetlekit sometime tomorrow, while Sunleap's symptoms won't start until the patrol he is currently on is over.
